Perfect Location for a Family Vacation!

This wonderful two-story Hilton Head vacation rental has been freshly painted throughout and features a recently updated first-floor bathroom with a new tiled walk-in shower. It’s conveniently located just a short bike ride to the beach and offers easy access to all the amenities the resort has to offer. The living room comes with a HDTV and provides access to a private deck that overlooks the community pool and pavilion. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, and the dining room offers seating for six.

The Primary bedroom is located on the first floor and boasts a queen bed and a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The guest bedroom, located on the second floor, features a queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The loft/landing area includes 2 twin-size beds and a flat-screen TV.

Enjoy outdoor dining and relaxation with the gas grill and seating for six on the private deck.

The complex pool is open from April 1 to September 30.

No pets are allowed at this property.

We had a wonderful stay.If I could provide one piece of constructive criticism, the reservation system for the Pickle Ball Round Robin (calling the pro shop daily at 7:30am, a week in advance) needs a major overhaul.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The villa was spacious, airy, and clean. I really liked the open floor plan. We had a couple of maintenance and internet issues that were efficiently resolved during the first 2 days of our stay. The front office was helpful and courteous. It could use a little paint update here and there, with maybe a deep cleaning of baseboards and wall vents. We ate on property, rented bikes, and visited the beach and our pool.We liked the location. We love Palmetto Dunes. It's beautiful, safe, and offers many restaurants and activities. There are many different property types to consider, and next time we might choose something closer to the beach. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Our Month at 243 Turnberry

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was pleasurable. But the condo was in poor shape. We had some technical issues like the AC not working correctly. The light over the stove was out and the shower faucet in the up stairs bath was leaking baddly so shower presser was low. Also the BBQ Grill was filthy and rusted (mostly unusable). The back porch was unusable through out our stay because of the constant catapillers dropping down from the trees. The trees were also constantly shedding so in order to use the porch we had to clean it very 3-4 hours. Someone thought it would be a good idea to put a carpet down on the porch which was always soaking wet and musty. Not ideal. Walls inside the condo, the seems are splitting and they need to be spackled again. We have stayed at Turnberry many times but this condo needs some much needed updating. The management handled our concerns well. Thank you.

Incredible!

We’ve been visiting Hilton Head for many years. This was our first time staying in Palmetto Dunes and we absolutely loved it. This rental in Turnberry was so clean, excellent layout, and very comfortable. A very easy bike ride to the beach, and the beach shuttle was super convenient as well. Check in was quick and easy, and check out was the simplist we’ve experienced. We would love to stay here again in the future

Disappointing compared to other Turnberry Condos

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is located on the end of the building and has very easy access to the pool and pavilion. There is a lot of foot traffic on the back and side paths, so there can be a privacy issue with so many windows! Lots of drink and dinnerware, but very few extras. Mattresses were comfortable, but a mismash of unmatched furniture. The cleaning crew did a great job cleaning the condo and the ample supply of dishwasher pods, laundry pods, toiletries was really appreciated. The inside of the washing machine was black. Usable only after my husband cleaned it. The pool was not kept clean; this was a major disappointment. The water was cloudy (everyday) and while we enjoy the shade provided by the trees in the pool area, it was a mess. The baby pool was never cleaned and was disgusting. Kudos to the management company for responding quickly to replace a non working coffee maker and propane tank for the grill. I will never rent from Palmetto Dunes rental again. We arrived early and despite a contract that indicated use of the amenities until 4pm, we were turned away by 2 different staff and not allowed access. Very disappointing. And, there is no early access, there will be a long line waiting at 4pm and it can take as long as 6pm to get into your condo. Using an island rental company is much better.
