We had a nice stay overall and would rate this home 4 out of 5 stars.The home was spacious and offered good value for a three bedroom rental. The location was perfect for our visit since it was less than a mile from our relatives, making it incredibly convenient. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome touches, including the snacks and bottled water, and the detailed welcome guide that was emailed to us before our arrival.There were a few areas that kept this from being a 5 star stay. I reached out to the host through Vrbo three days before our trip and again two days before our arrival with a few questions, but unfortunately never received a response through the platform. The day before check in, I had to contact Vrbo, who was able to reach the host on my behalf. They confirmed I would receive the welcome instructions by noon that day, which I did via email. While everything ultimately worked out, more timely communication through Vrbo would have made for a much smoother experience.We also noticed that the floors were not very clean upon arrival, and the sink in the smaller bathroom could have used a better cleaning.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the home’s space, location, and value. With improved communication and a little more attention to cleaning, this would easily be a 5 star property.
