This cottage is beautifully updated and you can't beat the location. It features 1 bath and 2 bedrooms, (one queen bed, and two twin beds) and a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. With amenities like a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, AC, and linens and bath towels, guests will have everything they need for a delightful stay. This is the perfect place to enjoy the town events, swimming. Enjoy the river view from the patio swing. Located on a quiet street, walking distance to beach, boardwalk, restaurants, shops and more. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Colonial Beach and our cottage have to offer. The golf cart is available for rent on a case by case basis.

The perfect cottage. The patio swing is great for watching the sunrise. So peaceful, clean, and well decorated. The beds are comfy and the kitchen and bath are well appointed. Also, it's just a few short blocks to a great Italian restaurant and the town "center." Can't wait to go back.

This house had everything. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, and close to the beach boardwalk; had indoor and outdoor living areas for us to enjoy; and was close to restaurants. Absolutely 5 stars.

Wonderful getaway

My husband, I and our Friends stayed for the weekend and had a fantastic time. Terry is a wonderful host and communication is terrific. The house was exactly as it’s pictured and described! We will most definitely return! Thank you Terry!!!!

Family getaway

We celebrated our son’s birthday and our wedding anniversary over the weekend. Terry we truly had the best time in CB, it’s such a cool little town. The house is adorable and we loved the convenience of being near the stores and restaurants. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at this very clean, charming and cheerful cottage! There are many thoughtful touches throughout and Terry was easily accessible. By the way, there IS a tiny side table/stand in the queen bedroom, not seen in the photo, which is helpful. This was a factor for me prior to renting it and was affecting my decision-making, so I was relieved to see something. In the photo it appears there's nothing. Speaking of bedrooms (as of March 2026) -as an fyi- in case you are wondering, the queen bed is on the softer side, and so is one of the twin beds in the other room. The other twin bed in the second bedroom is medium/regular firmness.We rented the golf cart and highly recommend it as a way to connect with and experience cute Colonial Beach. Tips about the town: For beautiful sunsets on the water, eat at Los Hermanos Mexican food. The food is just okay (mediocre) but views and vibe are great. If you want excellent Mexican food take your car (not the golf cart) to El Toro. All three of us loved our meals. We also enjoyed lunch in town at the Orchid Thai cuisine. There are two fun tropical bar/restaurants that we visited that offer live music- Dockside and the Ice House. Dockside has more outdoor amenities in warmer months, including swings (for adults).
