Sleeps 6 guests with 2 queen beds, 1 king bed, 1.5 bathrooms + a fully private, hot/cold outdoor shower surrounded by a huge fenced-in backyard! Washer/dryer. Eat-in kitchen. Heat, A/C. Front & back decks with outdoor seating, fire pit, grill, sauna, hot tub, beach chairs, cooler, and towels. Dogs allowed, no cats.

MI Shore Thing Cottage was everything we were looking for. The house was comfortable and well appointed, plenty of room for 5 of us and a dog. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Spacious kitchen to move around in and had all the kitchen ware we needed. The backyard was large and spacious with a hot tub, sauna and firepit, which we used daily. It was a short walk down the street to Lake Michigan to a private part of the beach. The beach/lake was spectacular!! It's a short drive to downtown near the marina and shopping. A really cute beach town with restaurants and bars along the way. We truly loved the long weekend at Mi Shore Thing Cottage. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Quaint, cozy and very comfortable cottage across the street from the beach. Huge backyard with all the goodies - and then some.Definitely recommend.

Cute clean house with close to beach access location and large outstanding yard/with many outdoor amenities. The yard is large. The hot tub/sauna r great options. The outdoor lights were wonderfully practical yet decorative and provided a nice ambiance. . Firewood is provided on site and the fire pit is surrounded with many large chairs and tables. There is a beach wagon, 6 chairs and 2 umbrellas. Pet owners will be happy with the fenced yard, dog bowls and dog towels/pick up bags. Since the house has a deck on the west side and another on the east side no matter the time of day there will always be 1 in the shade. The rear deck has a very large table . Great for cookouts. The beds r very comfortable. The living room chairs not so much. 2 large TVs on site.

The Shore Thing cottage is lovely! Bobby and Ashley are wonderful hosts and have thought of every detail in the home--from ample towels, kitchen supplies, and soap/shampoo/conditioner to board games, firewood, and outdoor seating. If you are traveling with your pup, they have thoughtfully left paw wipe towels by each door--a nice touch! The beautiful beach is a 5 min walk. We unfortunately did not get to use the hot tub or firepit but both are accessible in the huge backyard. Restaurants, breweries, and coffee shop a short walk from the home as well. I would highly recommend this place for a visit!

Short walk to one of the best beaches in SW Michigan! While McKinley beach is open to the public, it has the exclusivity of a private beach due to the location. The property is 2 lots with a huge fenced-in private backyard, the perfect outdoor paradise for families and pets alike!
