Amazing house, location

A wonderful vacation location for a group! Beautiful house with all the amenities one could want. The host was prompt in her communication and house instructions. By far, one of the best houses we have ever rented!

Special Place!

We rented this for a week with another family. 4 adults and 4 kids age 11 and 14. Here are my highlights: - giant kitchen, perfect for cooking meals and a nice bbq - huge fire pit for evening s’mores - 175 steps down to a gorgeous lake view. My son caught a few catfish. This is a bird sanctuary!!! You can hear the sound of Loons all day😁 - pool and hot tub are perfect! Lots of room to watch a movie in the main room. Only con was the “4th” bedroom. This can be fixed if a couple comfortable beds were placed here. It’s a pull out couch and very uncomfortable. We actually went to Canadian Tire and bought a few blow up beds and all the kids slept in this room. The room is very spacious. We decided to rent a limo to take us to Quebec City for dinner. Super fun and the walk to the road was a nice walk. Even saw a couple deer bouncing in the forest. Special Place!!!

La propriété est magnifique, dans un endroit serein en pleine nature. Aucun moteur à carburant sur le lac, donc un silence total autre que les sons agréables du vent dans les arbres et les oiseaux. Définitivement un endroit à retourner.

Nice house

Beautiful property, very private. Kids really enjoyed the pool and the toy area. There is a long gravel driveway to get to the house, our minivan just made it. Would be very difficult during the winter. House was well stocked with all the essentials and then some. Reason for 3 star. Sofa bed in the bedrooms was very uncomfortable. Also, the interior doors were very creaky, made a lot of noise opening and closing. This wouldn’t normally be a big deal but we had young children and this would cause them them to wake up.

Drop dead gorgeous!

The views from our wall of windows is spectacular! Communication is excellent, and property is spotless and beautifully appointed. Highly recommend.

Amazing Home

What an amazing home! Its not far from downtown but totally in nature. A great getaway after a day of exploring downtown. Audrey was very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING modern house in the heart of nature

Very accurate description of this beautiful house. We stayed here and absolutely enjoyed it. It was very spacious! Some of the pictures are slightly different, but it was even better in person. The kitchen was fully stocked with almost every piece of equipment imaginable, including nice dishware as well as detergent and garbage bags - check before you shop! Plenty of places to sit and relax, both inside and outside. We enjoyed being in nature, just listening to the animals talking to each other, and seeing the stars at night. We also enjoyed swimming in the big pool, sitting in the hot tub, kayaking on the lake and roasting marshmallows. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Maybe some lamps beside the beds, and some chairs in the upstairs bedroom would be nice. There was no a/c, but we opened the windows and we were fine with the fan in the king room. There are no curtains, but we were fine. It was very close to the grocery store and drug store, Tim Hortons, a bakery and ice cream shop, as well as old Quebec City and I'm sure there were other things nearby as well. Everything was beautiful! The only problem that we had was that we wish we had more time to enjoy it!

Fabulous house

My family loved our stay. We had a hard time deciding whether to stay in and enjoy the house and pool or explore the city and surrounding area. Audrey was very responsive and made perfect recommendations for nearby restaurants, shops, etc. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. We also enjoyed the views of nature from every window.

Celebrating Friendship

For the past ten years our group has been celebrating 60+ years of friendship by taking a one week trip to an agreed upon destination which this year was Quebec. It was a terrific choice. House was perfect for us. We enjoyed every thing about the house. The row boat, the kayaks, the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking, the seating in the den allowed all seven of us to relax, watch TV or enjoy a movie. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. We had some difficulty getting a taxi or Uber due to the Music Fest that week, but were fortunate enough to find a taxi driver that ended up being available to us all week. The IGA grocery store was close enough to get what we needed. The bakery you mentioned Pascal le Boulanger was outstanding. We had a wonderful week and would recommend this house for a great vacation.

Wonderful Vacation Home for Families

We had a wonderful time vacationing with our children, in-laws, and grand children in this lovely home. The home is truly in the forest but has easy access to the village where there is an IGA grocery store and a Brunet pharmacy (similar to CVS or Walgreens in the USA). Walmart is a 22 minute drive from the property. Historic Quebec City is only about a 25 minute drive from the property. The property was clean.The kitchen has everything necessary for food preparation and storage.The beds were comfortable. We didn't use the hot tub, but we did use the pool. It was fabulous! There is a fire pit we used to roast marshmallows. Some of our group enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Since we are Americans, on the fourth of July, we ate red, white, and blue ice cream and watched fireworks on the television. It was record-breaking hot during some of our stay, so the house did stay warm on three of our 10 days. But for the most part, opening the windows with screens worked to circulate the air. They provided eye sleeping masks for each bedroom since there are no window coverings. That was really helpful with the long and bright summer days. We travel a lot and have stayed at many vacation rentals. Personally, I think this was one of the very best ones.

Stunning vacation retreat!

Audrey was so helpful and excellent with communication. Her place is gorgeous, elegant, comfortable, spacious- like a resort but you have it all to yourselves. We visited Quebec City, montmorency Falls, beaupre, and all are convenient to her home. We also just enjoyed staying at this beautiful home with a heated pool, hot tub, kayaks, fire pit and grill. It was so peaceful we hated to leave. The decor is awesome! You can feel at home though, cook, relax, plenty of hangout spaces for all. Beds were super comfortable. I would love to visit again. Our next vacation it will be hard to find anything as nice as this place and this host. Thank you Audrey!!

Amazing February break at this beautiful house...

We stayed at this house for 4 nights during February. We were 4 adults and 4 kids. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We cooked almost every night and the kitchen has everything you need. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. The property is great if you like to snowshoe. It’s also very close to Quebec City. Highly recommend it.

Wow - just Wow!

The pictures make this place look amazing but when you see it in person it blows you away! So beautifully finished - it is apparent the owners have put a lot of thought, effort and care into this property. The decor is so tasteful, it's in a very quiet and private location and incredibly comfortable. Outside is amazing too - we had so much fun on the boats and a great camp fire on our last night. Thank you!

One of the most beautiful and well-cared for homes

We stayed for a week in what can only be described as a dream house. Beautifully appointed and furnished, meticulously clean. A real treat. The owners were responsive before our stay and left helpful info at the house too. Perfect location, close to the village for grocery shopping but tucked away for privacy. About 25 min car ride to Quebec City. Highly recommend ***** !

Beautiful home

This home is as pictured. It is beautiful. I feel it is important to note for travelers staying during the summer that there is no AC, curtains or a heat pump so it gets very hot inside when hot and sunny outside. Looking forward to returning during the fall when we can see the fall colours.

More than expected!

We enjoyed the Huge open spaces that are beautifully designed and decorated that included fully equipped Kitchen for the Chef's in our family. Row boat and Kayak's were perfect for fishing in and just exploring on the lake. A huge firepit with wood provided was perfect for our campfires. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Great home and beautiful location

We would highly recommend this Home to families and groups. It was comfortable and warm and inviting. Our family thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the hot tub at night in the snow. We snow shoe’d and had brunch at the local lodge. It was so quiet and private. We want to come back in the summer and enjoy the dock!
