We traveled to the area for a wedding. This home has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The entrance is on the bottom floor with a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a laundry room and a space for a kitchenette (sink,.counter, drawers, cupboards). Upstairs there is another living room, kitchen, one master bedroom/bathroom and another bedroom (two beds) and bathroom. The deck is a nice private space to relax near the water. It was fun to watch the wildlife both in the water and in the sky. The home served it's purpose for us and we will stay here again on our next trip through. We always rent vacation homes for our large family of 13 and while this home was not as stocked (paper towels, iron, shampoo etc) as the others we made it work. We just ordered what we needed through Walmart delivery. Bring your k- cups as there is not a traditional coffee pot. But morning coffee on the deck was definitely worth brewing 8 cups of java one at a time.If you decide to venture out on the water, you can rent kyacks from Ron. He was very accommodating.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this house, and had a great time. This time we were with family, and it was a terrific for or needs. The kitchen / dining area is roomy and great to play games, have meals, and just generally hang. Ron , the manager was great and very responsive to our question and our needs. The house is well equipped, only thing I would suggest is if you need something other than the basics for cooking, check with Ron. For instance, we needed a colander and there was none. One son brought his dogs, and and glad that dogs are allowed. We got to meet the neighbors and they were all real nice. We are already planning our next stay.

A Boaters Paradise on Bethel Island

We had an outstanding time at this house. Quite honestly, it was beyond my expectations. The living area is great for entertaining with an island eating area, table that comfortably seat 8. On top of that, having 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms allowed us all to have our privacy. There was plenty of parking, and a respectable distance from neighbors. The real draw for us was that the house comes with a long dock where we were able to bring in a sailboat with a 6-foot draft and a power boat with lots of room. The dock is pretty basic, and does not come with power. Even so – if you are a boater and looking for a place to arrive by boat and enjoy the comfort of the house, a warm shower and a bed, this is heaven. There is a trick if you are coming by boat which is to come from the Franks Track side of the water (avoid the Emerald Point Marina side because it has lots of plant growth) – and stay as close as possible to the docks. The water at low tide is 7-8 feet deep the entire way. We really enjoy the Sacramento Delta, and this house made a great central point for dawdling on the delta or just hanging around the water. It is only 10 minutes by boat to the Sugar Barge, and 15 minutes to the Rusty Port Hole. The manager was great and answered all our questions promptly and was easy to work with. We certainly expect to return to this hidden treasure.
30 foot boat at dock. Depth was 8 foot.
The deepest water can be found by staying close to the docks, and enter from the Franks Track side. If you have a keel, avoid entering from the abandoned marina side - lots of weeds.
