Being utterly in love with our local tradition we became open-minded to the human diversity in culture, history, language ... and the warm hospitality that creates unity among people.

"Serafi" & "Tsampika" are a "treasure" of local tradition, two homes where you feel like your home.

Since the summer of 2014, the doors of our hospitable traditional homes, “Serafi” & “Tsampika”, are open and invite you to experience the local tradition and life
of Archangelos Rhodes.

The opening of these homes to the people aims to keep the local tradition alive and pass it on all over the world. We encourage our guests to combine their relaxing holidays with the experience of local tradition which is exuded by “Serafi” & “Tsampika” traditional homes. We give a chance to our guests to taste local dishes and traditional bread baked in the wood burning oven in the yard, to familiarize themselves with the aromatic herbs of the yard.
My mother Charikleia is my essential partner to this task. She is specially interested in the preservation of the cultural heritage of Archangelos Rhodes and she deals in particular with the study and preservation of the "arch type home" in Archangelos Rhodes.

Because the traditional arch type home "Tsampika" is an Ambassadors of Hellenic Culture.
It is just splendid, nothing is missing, nor is it superfluous; it is a reflection of the Greek cultures’ moderation and harmony – "a repose of the heart".

It is located in Serafi- neighborhood and welcome you when you enter the hospitable yard, which is full of aromatic herbs, and flowers and three domineering cypress trees reaching up to the sky.

"...and the arch type home's door opens and the beauty floods your heart and overflows with the surprise of the “plateloticho” (the plate wall)! They are the hand painted plates, which accompanied the bride to her new home, with the big mirror in the middle and the family pictures. But why so many plates? With beauty there is no “why”.
– It just saves you!.."

Guests can enjoy:
*The great local beaches: Tsampika (the best in Rhodes), St. Agatha and Stegna, all very close to the Archangelos (2 - 10 min by car).
*The Traditional Historical Center of the village.
*The Equestrian Club “Faethon” which has gathered all the surviving small horses (they exclusively exist in Rhodes) and has put forth a rescue effort for them.

Beautiful hikes:
a) To the Knights Castle (15 min walk).
b) To Stegna beach (one hour walk - Note: The road coming back is uphill).
c) To "Epta Piges" natural park (seven springs - one hour and half walk or on horseback - through the forest path).
