The Space:

Your spirits will soar at Island Spirits, a generous and gracious home with oceanfront views designed to embrace a large family in style, just a scamper down the road from the sand dunes crossover. This home was built after a classic floorplan for maximum sleep time privacy with a crowd: a quad foundation level of bedrooms fore and aft, each side sharing ensuite access to a Jack n Jill bath. But, Mom and Dad will be in bliss on the top floor where they can preside over the open living space. French doors, spaces filled with natural light, vaulted ceilings, and an unbeatable view of the ocean will fill your vacation home with the heartbeat of the island. The showstopper is a massive solid wood, custom designed family dining table where 10 people can gather around the table together. Comfortable, classic furnishings and tasteful decor put the focus on family and love.



Ground Level:

Public Beach Access 3 – 5th St & N Shore Dr, Surf City, NC 28445. Outdoor private hot shower. Free private parking for 6 vehicles, size dependent. (The party deck directly across from Island Spirits belongs to the neighbor, is private, and unavailable to Island Spirits guests.) Public beach access is just a one minute walk.



Level 2:

Entry foyer: loveseat, soft side chair, coffee table.

South Bedroom 1: ocean view from the bed, queen bed, chest.

Jack N Jill Bath: bathtub and shower, single vanity, toilet.

South Bedroom 2: queen bed, chest.

North Bedroom 3: ocean view from the bed, queen bed, chest.

Jack N Jill Bath: bathtub and shower, single vanity, toilet.

North Bedroom 4: twin bunk bed, twin over double bunk bed, TV

Laundry: washer and dryer

Oceanfront Covered Deck: outdoor seating



Level 3:

Living Room: two sofas, soft side chairs, decorative fireplace, 

Dining Room: dining table seating 10,  bar seating for 4.

Kitchen: granite counters, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, electric range, microwave, fully equipped for feeding a large crowd at home.

Oceanfront Porch: rockers, chaise lounge chairs, outdoor dining table seating 4.

Bedroom 5 King Suite: king bed, TV, ensuite access to shared bath.

Bathroom: enter from king suite or hall, bathtub and shower, double vanity, toilet. 



Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the end of the beds. 



Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm

Check-out is by 10 am. 

We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

House Rules:

- No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities 

- No smoking inside, outside, or in common areas downstairs

- You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.



Elevator Policies:  

Please note, the cargo lift is for convenience only and is not rated for human transport. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy: One small dog only allowed. Pet is included in the rental price.



We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Topsail Island is a hidden gem along the NC coast, known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and charming coastal towns like Surf City. From sunbathing and swimming to fishing and surfing, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on this beautiful island. Explore the local shops and restaurants, take a fishing cruise out with an area fishing guide, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun. With so much to see and do on Topsail Island, your vacation will be filled with unforgettable memories and moments of pure relaxation. Topsail Island is a 28-mile-long barrier island made up of marshes, estuaries, dunes, and shorelines. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, “Tops’l” as the locals call it, is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier. 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier, which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. Privately owned shops, restaurants and attractions abound on Topsail, as well as the neighboring mainland towns. Learn the history of Topsail at the Missiles and More Museum and understand how to be a good steward of the sea at the Touch Tank Aquarium in Surf City and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center for laid back and family friendly things to do on Topsail.
