DIRECTIONS AND CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS: For the privacy of any staying guest, physical addresses are not provided until booking and confirmation is complete.

DIGITAL GUESTBOOK: Directions, check in instructions, and everything you`ll need to know are available provided in the digital guestbook! The link is sent via email after booking and completing your check in form. We`ll also send via SMS text message prior to arrival.

ACCESSING THE HOUSE: The driveway up to the house is gravel and steep as you go up the hill and then level at the back of the property. It`s manageable for just about any vehicle. Entry is through the door on the back side of the home. There are 2 steps up to the large outdoor deck with level entry through the front door. Guests have full access of the home except for any locked doors or cabinets that are for owner access only.

The neighborhood roads are paved, making access to A Beary Happy Place easy. In winter, the driveway is plowed when snow exceeds 4 inches or as needed. While Ruidoso and Alto have some hilly and mountainous areas, they are generally easy to navigate year-round. During winter, guests should have 4-wheel drive and/or snow chains in case of major snowstorms. For extended stays, travel insurance is recommended.

Welcome to Bears Gone Fishing. We kindly ask that all guests review and respect the following house rules to ensure a comfortable stay and compliance with Village of Ruidoso standards.

OCCUPANCY & CONDUCT
-Maximum occupancy: 4 guests
-No parties, events, or gatherings
-Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM Please be mindful that sound carries in mountain communities. Outdoor noise, music, and conversations must remain at a respectful level at all times.
-Children must NEVER be left unattended around decks or the hot tub

PARKING
- 2 vehicles max. No trailers, RVs, or campers permitted

PET POLICY
- NO PETS PERMITTED Unauthorized pets will result in additional cleaning fees and potential removal without refund.

SMOKING & FIRE SAFETY
-No smoking or vaping inside the home
-Outdoor smoking is permitted but subject to Fire Danger Restrictions. NEVER dispose of cigarettes or cigars on the ground, driveway, or off decks
-Fire tables are prohibited for short-term rentals in the Village of Ruidoso

HOME CARE
-Please do not bring food or colored beverages into bedrooms to protect linens
-Do not move furniture
-Hot tubs, fireplaces, and grills must be used responsibly and according to posted instructions
-Children must never use the hot tub without direct adult supervision

TRASH DISPOSAL
– IMPORTANT: We do not have curbside trash pickup. Guests are required to dispose of all food and trash prior to departure.
-All residents and guests must bag and take trash to the public beige dumpsters located along the roadways throughout Ruidoso. Failure to remove food and trash from the property may result in a minimum $150 disposal fee.

Failure to follow house rules may result in additional fees or removal from the property without refund
