What an awesome cabin stay! Elk Crest is a great cabin, with everything you need. Comfortable bed and great linens. Killer view from the deck, especially at sunset! Feels secluded, but you are minutes away from Bigfork. Tip: arrive during daylight, it’s tricky to spot the turn.

Adorable Big Fork Cabin

It’s a very cute one bedroom cabin with views a flathead lake, very close to downtown, and easy access to the water and hiking trails. My husband and I loved sitting out on the porch in the evening, enjoying the cool summer evenings. We appreciated the cans of bear spray available for us to take on our hikes.

We enjoyed our stay at the Elk Crest Cabin. It was very convenient to many places for us in Big Fork. All your basic needs were provided for a comfortable stay for the two of us.

Charming perfect get away cabin in the Woods

This cabin is adorable perfect for a getaway which was our goal. It’s nestled in a forest surrounded by bronze statues of a bighorn sheep, a bear, and a dog and a Native American under A teepee. Just beautiful. The cabin has all the essentials you need.Darling and the view out the back is gorgeous. You can see the lake from the cabin. The management team is first class all the way. We had questions about parking our trailer, an issue with the temperature of the cabin. The company was super communicative and solved all our problems quickly and efficiently. Thank you!! Highly recommend this gem in the woods.

Nice View!

The cabin was nice and the view really nice. We were visited by deer most evenings. The bedroom is really big and the bed comfortable. A little close to hwy 35, so you can hear a little traffic. The outdoor grill was too rusty for direct on the grill use, but used an iron pan for a good result. The mini fridge is also the sink and two electric burners. It’s certainly interesting! They have added a dorm size mini fridge which helped since we had to bring more food than we normally do because of the pandemic. Some local restaurants were open and the grocery is very close. It’s a bit of a drive to Glacier National Park, but that did t stop us from going there five times in seven days! Overall it is a nice little cabin and we are happy we stayed there.

Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed at this cabin on our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. It was right in the middle of all the activities we wanted to enjoy and the most we had to travel was 40 minutes! It was a 5 minute drive to the lake and maybe a 10 minute drive to a grocery store. Although it's close to a lot of conveniences when you are at the cabin it doesn't feel that way at all!

Great home base near the lake

We enjoyed the cabin and liked that it was close to the park/lake as well downtown. It isn’t as private as I’d expected - it’s right in between some other houses - but it was very peaceful all the same. It’s only set up for light cooking but that was fine for us. And the shower is hot and has great water pressure!

Perfect Montana Cabin

Beautiful log cabin on a peaceful scenic setting with view of Flathead Lake from the rear deck! Feels secluded yet you are 5 minutes from historic downtown Bigfork and the Flathead Brewing company! Highly recommend and we would love to return! 50 minutes from Glacier NP!

Nice cabin in the woods.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It has a nice view of the sliver of the lake and is really close to the little town of big fork. The cabin does have two neighbors on top of the hill so it's not necessarily secluded. I gave it 4 stars based on some small issues we had in that it explicitly says you get two rolls of toilet paper and we unfortunately found out there was only one on our last night :(, we only were provided one trash bag which wasn't big deal but a little weird considering the previous. Ovearll a nice place in Montana if you are in the Flathead lake area.

Great mountain getaway!

The cabin was perfect! We enjoyed the view of the lake and all the statues around the property. It was close enough to Glacier National Park to do a little extra hiking.

The cabin was neat and clean and easy access to various points of interest surrounding Glacier National Park. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property if you are looking for a place that is quiet yet a very short distance to BigFork.

Lovely stay at Elk Crest Cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at Elk Crest Cabin! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat (that is also conveniently located to towns and nature). The cabin was clean, had a nice layout and had a charming "Montana" feel. There is a beautiful view of Flathead Lake and the mountains in the distance from the front porch. Raina was so helpful and accommodating in the time leading up to our reservation and provided a few suggestions of things to do in the area. The only hiccup in the trip was that the refrigerator was set too low and froze some of our food. Otherwise the accommodations were exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations. Beautiful property!!

My husband and I enjoyed this cozy cabin with nice mountain and lake views. We cook dinner a lot when staying in places like this so the kitchen appliances could use some updating. But other than that, it was a wonderful experience!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was an overall good experience. It was a nice place to stay with enough around it - and whatever wasn't right nearby wasn't too far of a drive. We were able to enjoy the lake and easily get to Glacier National and the National Bison Range. We had a blast! The only negative part of our stay was the lack of kitchen utensils for making a simple scrambled egg breakfast - no spatula! We also had a plastic pipe from the water heater break during the middle of the night (although that did not affect our water supply or our stay).
