Beautiful family retreat

A beautiful, tranquil villa fully equipped with swimming pool, covered BBQ area and WiFi ( essential for any teenage visitor!) A local shop provided the basics with cheap, local booze and for a larger shop, Lidl was a short drive away. The villa and grounds were clean and tidy & exactly how the pictures show. The manager was extremely helpful and efficient in dealing with any query and was helpful regarding places to visit. Highlights for us were the ATV experience, visit to Shumen, Suvorovo and of course exploring Varna! Would highly recommend a stay here - a remote retreat away from any hustle and bustle but only a short drive away from an adventure!

Charming rustic retreat

A very charming gem of a villa deep in the Bulgarian countryside. Its location benefits from being part of an unspoilt village but with good bars and restaurants easily accessible. Beautiful pool, clean, comfortable and well equipped villa with all mod cons. First class customer care - nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend it.

Incredible villa, amazing holiday, beautiful country

The villa is just perfect. There are 3 big double bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. One of the bedrooms is annexed to the main house, which is perfect for parents who want a bit of space away from older children. Everything you need is there, it really feels like home. But the best part is the pool & the garden. We spent most of our time out there. The village is tiny but has a shop & a bar, & there is a big supermarket 10 minutes drive away. Varna is only 30 minutes away, & really easy to drive to. The countryside is stunning too. I can't recommend this villa enough.

beautiful house and garden

Beautiful house and garden. All very clean. Nice and clean swimmingpool. Car can be parked on the grounds. Kitchen provides all the things you need. In Provadiya there is a very good Liddl for your shoppings. Varna, which we loved, is just within half an hour drive. The only thing we can think of that can be better are the matrasses. Real Bulgarian beds....we are used to a bit softer matrasses. But.....that is the only thing we can think of. Real good property to spend your holiday!

Rustic Blgarian getaway

If your looking for a rural retreat to get away from it all then look no further, very high standard living accomodation, lovely pool and loads of countryside on your doorstep to explore. Ideal place for families who want to "re connect" with each other and just spend some quality time. Varna lovely too.

Perfect holiday at Rustic Bulgarian Villa

On a visit to Bulgaria from New Zealand I found the Rustic Villa the perfect holiday location, The quiet rural setting is conveniently close to Pravadia's shops and restaurants and is an easy 40 minute drive into Varna - a delightfully vibrant city offering many interesting and enjoyable attractions to explore. The villa's surroundings and first-class facilities provided a relaxing comfortable holiday which far exceeded my expectations. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending the Villa for a special holiday experience in Bulgaria.

Bulgarian Holiday

Wonderful holiday with my sister, visiting from New Zeland. The villa was perfect for our needs and enjoyment, containing as it does every modern convenience, as well as a beautiful pool for swimming and lounging in the warmth of the Bulgarian sunshine. Pravadia is the nearest town ten minutes away by car and offers shops and restaurants and ancient hilltop fortress site. Varna is the nearest city being situated forty minutes away by car and offers a fabulous beach and first class shops, a beautiful cathedral and museum. I highly recommend the villa for family holiday use.

Hi, I was lucky enough to have bought this property in 2007, mainly for it's rustic charm and character. It's hard to believe that one can be in such a beautiful and different setting, just 3 hrs. from the UK. I've holidayed here in Petrovdol, with my family, every year since then and I still love it dearly. Over the years we've come to know and love the locals, like family, and Bulgaria, for it's unique charm and beauty.

It's great having English speaking, friends and contacts, living here, full time, within easy reach of The Rustic Bulgarian Villa, able to answer any queries about the house or provide information on the area and local amenities, at any time. Children absolutely love it here. As well as tortoise living within the grounds of the property, as soon as they step out of the front gate, there are geese, chickens, turkeys, goats and donkeys, to name but a few of the animals kept by some of the adjoining, smallholdings. The wildlife in this part of Bulgaria, includes, Eagles (some Golden) all sorts & Storks, which migrate/immigrate from and to Africa, each year. The 12 x 4 meter swimming pool is great and means that one really need not leave the property for something to do, at any time and especially when it's hot. Installing it has completely transformed the dynamics of this property. It's important to mention that the property is walled, on all sides, so if you have children, although they can explore and wander freely, around the 1500 square meters, they cannot wander off.
