Our entire group loved staying here. We had 11 in our group—3 families from 10 to 82 and it worked out perfectly for all of us. We rented the entire building. Was a little nervous going the route of separate condos instead of a single family, but turned out so well. We could either be together or ‘retreat’ when we wanted. The upper 4 suites connect to 1 of the lower units & the other lower has a separate entry, which was nice for the grandparents. Every unit had its own bathroom, which was great.It’s located in the heart of downtown & we really had a good time being within walking distance to everything. When we weren’t out doing things, we could congregate in the South Shore living room or the area outside. Street parking wasn’t an issue at all. Awesome stay!!So much to do from Madeleine Island, kayaking, hiking, biking, waterfalls, beaches, pottery classes, shopping, really good food (& ice cream ) Casino, music and chillaxing—surrounded by the beauty of Lake Superior & the charm of Bayfield.Windseekers Rentals does a super job. Always responded quickly to any question or need. Great people—friendly, helpful and genuinely caring. Not easy managing an older historic building, but they really handle it well. Don’t hesitate to stay here whether it’s for the entire building or just a couple getting away.
