Welcome, you'll feel right at home in this Cozy Cottage on Perrymont! Located less than a mile to University of Lynchburg, 4 miles to Liberty University, 5 miles to Randolph College and 19 miles to Sweetbriar. You will be staying just minutes away from the mall and Seaquest Aquarium!


Bedroom one: blue room- queen bed, TV for streaming, charging stations for phones, suitcase stand, hangers, many pillows with more in hall closet, nightstands with lamps, closet has a pack n play for child use. And a queen blow up mattress on the shelf.

Bedroom two: double bed, tv for streaming, charging stations for phones, suitcase stand, hangers, many pillows with more in hall closet, nightstands with lamps

Bathroom: stocked with towels, wash clothes, makeup towels, hand towels (with extras of all items in hall closet), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, individually wrapped toothbrushes, clothing steamer (sometimes left in hall closet if not under the sink)

Kitchen: fully stocked with baking dishes, pots, pans, mixing bowls, serving platters, cooking, utensils, eating utensils, salt, pepper, all cooking, spices, cooking oil, coffee pot with coffee, creamer, and sugar, individual teabags, wine glasses, mugs, pizza, cutter, wine, opener, wine, stopper, kids dishes utensils bib, cups and a high chair beside the washer and dryer

Living room: bistro table and two chairs, couch, swivel rocking chair, extra blankets, TV for guest streaming, card games, tick tac toe, books, floor lamp

Outside: sidewalks through neighborhood- on good weather days expect to see many neighbors out on a stroll, kids riding bikes and dogs being walked

House was clean, well decorated and well equipped. Kitchen was well stocked, but the table is very small and not an effective place to eat a meal with two people. Having laundry available was great. The window (with peeling privacy film) in the shower was not as private as I would have liked. Host responded to initial requests, but follow up could have been better. The feather sofa was not ideal for a person with allergies. There was also still a faint smell of smoke.

It was great. The neighborhood is quiet. The amenities are good. Everything worked really well. There was a great washer and dryer and that helped. The house was clean and well put together. Our host was very responsive even when we came in late.

It was a great experience overall. Nice and cozy and close to the school, malls and shopping. Great mother and daughter time well spent.

Reasonable for what you're paying. Overall condition was good. Kitchen had some modern touches that were nice. A bit small in space. The small pluses and minuses include really nice shower soap and shampoo; air conditioning; usb outlets on both sides of the bed; easy to use tv access; plenty of kitchen tools; comfortable beds; some games. On the minus side, way too many pillows (though my wife liked them); lack of a dining room table; yard needed a spring cleaning; no ice cube trays in the freezer.

Lovely home, Fabulous host

We enjoyed five nights at his cute updated home. It was pretty, comfortable and convenient with so many thoughtful touches! Throughout every step of our rental, the host was very responsive and helpful, answering all of my many questions promptly and kindly. The neighborhood was lovely, and we even had someone stop to comment on how great the property looked following renovations! Parking and access were easy.

What a Wonderful Space!

After slipping and falling several times on the ice around my rural home that was suffering from a longterm power outage, I searched nearby Lynchburg for a short-term rental property that would 1) have electricity, 2) provide me with a tub so I could take a nice long hot bath, and 3) be in a relatively safe and quiet neighborhood. “Cozy Cottage on Perrymont” checked not only all those boxes but plenty more. What a wonderful space—full of light, quiet, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. A perfect home away from home for me. Although there was still snow on the ground in Lynchburg during my stay, all the sidewalks had been shoveled and I was able to go for walks in the neighborhood without danger of slipping. I was pleased to encounter a handful of friendly neighbors (cheerfully chatting with each other and extending their good cheer to me after I said hello). Although I didn’t use the kitchen, it appeared to be well equipped. I appreciated the ample supply of cozy blankets and towels; and I also enjoyed how close I was to restaurants and and to stores that I normally don’t have access to in my very rural area. Thank you, Briana, for hosting me!
