Great host, everything you needed was right on the property. Made accommodations for my family and I before our stay and made sure that any requests made were to our satisfaction. Most vacation rentals have cheap bedding. Not this host. This place has the most comfortable beds that you’ll ever sleep in. You won’t find a hotel with beds that comfortable. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for entertaining guests and family. Enough room to dock your boat (park for boat landing close by). Kayaks and life jackets available for you and your guests. Beautiful wraparound patio with plenty of seating, tables, games, grill, and outdoor cooler. It’s your perfect home away from home.

PROS:-Check-in and check-out were fairly seamless: approximately 5-6 hours prior to check-in, we were provided a code to access the house; check-out tasks were manageable/reasonable -Location: conveniently-located, in close proximity to a Harris Teeter, local restaurants, etc. -Gorgeous View: perched amongst the trees with a commanding view of the lake; lake access via a dock with some lake toys provided (though we didn’t use them, it was nice to have them as an option!) -Other: ample, covered parking; comfortable beds; awesome back deck with plenty of seating; strong WiFi capable of supporting multiple devicesCONS: -Bathrooms: water pressure in the main level shower was very weak -Other: some of the Tupperware containers provided at the house were cracked/broken (we only discovered after we noticed food leaking from them); the fire table on the main level back deck was out of propane

We had the best stay! Jamie was a great host from the beginning, very responsive and knowledgeable. The home is in great condition, comfortable beds, easily accessible by car or boat! Seamless check-in/checkout process. Would highly recommend!! Thank you Jamie!!

Wonderful Weekend on the Water!

We had an amazing Memorial Day weekend at Paradise Perch. The house was easy to find and had plenty of parking. We had 10 guests and everyone slept very comfortable. My partner and I slept on the pullout with the basement and both were pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it was! The kayaks, paddle boards, floats, and lake mats were awesome amenities! The house is located conveniently located 3 minutes from a grocery store (Harris Teeter) as well as a 5 minute boat ride from a rental boat marina (CS Rentals). Jamie was very responsive and very helpful! I highly recommend and would stay again at this property!

This property is a beautiful home away from home with lots of high end furnishings and aesthetic details. The bedrooms and living spaces are fantastic. The outdoor fire table is a bit finicky but worked well once we got the hang of it. We had a lovely time and hope to be back again soon.
