Griffith is waiting for you at this cozy cabin. This 1-bedroom retreat offers heating, WiFi, and AC for a perfect stay. Relax in the pleasant living space or explore the cool surroundings. We look forward to hosting you at our place.

Gorgeous newly renovated log cabin for two on a working homestead just minutes from Hard Rock Casino! Stop on in for one night or twenty nights!

Up-to-date technology inside with superfast Wi-Fi, heater fireplace, large portable air conditioner, and hot showers! Brand new bathroom and cute kitchenette complete with all the dishes, pots and pans to make your favorite meals!

The Full Sized Bed will provide extra comfort to our guests!

Guests will have access to the entire cabin, fire pit in the front of the cabin.
Firewood for the fire pit can be purchased locally.
If any additional amenities like Iron, iron board are needed feel free to just ask!

Cute little cabin!

Cute cabin perfect for 2! My cousin and I went for a weekend trip to the Dunes and had the perfect place to stay and shower the sand off! Would definitely stay again!

#1 Cabin Stay

Stayed here overnight with my significant other while on a trip to Indiana Dunes National Park. We loved the atmosphere inside and had a great time snuggled up watching movies. Great town located nearby and very comfortable.

Cute little cabin close to Chicago!

My partner and I stayed here overnight for a little Chicago getaway without staying in the city and it was just perfect for it! The bed was a bit stiff but the cabin was overall quite cozy and very clean.

The cabin was nice and had everything I needed. I arrived late and left early the next day so didn’t spend too much time on the property. Being by chickens in the morning was a nice surprise!

It was said to have a stove top but it only had an electrical eye. Pipes smelled once water ran. Heaters did not get the room warm and one was broken.

Hi, thank you for staying at the cabin and for sharing your feedback. I’d like to clarify a few points for future guests reading this review. The listing does not advertise a traditional range stovetop; it clearly notes and shows a NuWave induction cooktop, which was available and fully functional during your stay. Regarding heating, the cabin is equipped with multiple heaters, including a fireplace-style space heater as the primary heat source. All heaters were fully functional before and after your visit, and the interior temperature was approximately 73 degrees at both check-in and check-out. During your stay, outside temperatures dropped to around 12 degrees, and an additional portable heater was provided as a backup option. As for the water, the cabin uses well water, which is common for rural properties. The system is equipped with multiple filtration stages, and the water is safe for use. Guests who are not accustomed to well water may occasionally notice a mild odor when hot water is first run, which dissipates quickly and does not indicate a water quality issue. If any concerns had been raised during your stay, I would have been happy to address them in real time. Guest comfort is important to me, and I always encourage communication so issues can be resolved promptly. I appreciate you choosing to stay at the cabin and wish you the best going forward.

Cute cabin for a weekend getaway

The cabin was cozy and had all the essentials. Though it was snowing during our stay, the outdoor space and fire pit were probably the best part. The space heaters keep the place nice and warm. The TV, wifi, and streaming access were a nice bonus. I'm not used to well water so we used bottled water for cooking and drinking, but otherwise it's a nice place for a weekend getaway close to the city for a good price.

Your staying in a tiny house right behind the host house. In all honesty, its cute but you have absolutely no privacy. Per vrbo and all other rental platforms, if you have a service animal, no host can discriminate and deny you or kick you out. Well, the host who was watching me since I arrived texted me and said he called the police and I needed to vacate his property immediately. Mind you, it was 25 f out and I have a 1 year old. It was so embarrassing. Vrbo put us in a hotel but I had to wait a few hours for a solution so sitting in my car with an infant and 2 service dogs was a real treat. Hosts clearly don't know the rules of a platform they use on at very least monthly. I will say he did offer to help carry stuff out.

HiJennifer, thank you for your feedback. For clarity, the cabin is located at the back of a two-acre property and is not directly behind the main home. During your stay, multiple undisclosed and unsupervised animals were found inside the unit (including a cat), along with damage to interior items. Because the home is advertised as no-pets due to allergy and sanitation requirements, we had to involve VRBO support to resolve the situation and follow their exact guidance for a supervised checkout and extensive cleaning for sanitation of dander and pet mess left in the space. We always aim to handle concerns professionally and wish you the best going forward.
