The property was up in the hilltop and in a beautiful area. The studio was well kept. My only feedback is the bed size isn't mention - its a queen size btw- and its terribly squeaky. You fall in the middle when two people sleep. Also the fridge is really loud at night. That said, i've also stayed at other air b n b's that have at least tea or coffee, which this place had none. It had all the cups and plates and i very much understand its not required but most hotels do so it would be nice. A hanging rack would be great, as there is none nor hangers. Its perfect for a overnight and beautiful trails near by.

Ruhige Lage in Sausalito

Unser Aufenthalt war insgesamt in Ordnung. Die Lage ist gut. Es ist ruhig und wir hatten einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus auf einer öffentlichen Straße. Einchecken ging reibungslos und ohne Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, den wir insgesamt gar nicht zu sehen bekommen haben. Über 200 pro Nacht für ein kleines, privates Studio mag für San Francisco und Umgebung zwar in Ordnung sein, dennoch war das Gebotene sehr bescheiden: in der Küche fanden sich lose, in den Schubladen rumliegend alle möglichen Utensilien, Besteck, Teller, Pfannen, usw. alles lose und wirr rumliegend, insgesamt nur ein Kaffeelöffel vorhanden. Das ganze wirkte äußerst schlampig und unauf geräumt, schlechter als in einer Studentenbude. Leider war das Bett auch sehr schlecht. Nicht nur, dass es relativ schmal war, die Matratze war durchgelegen, so dass man sich im Laufe der Nacht immer zusammen in der mittleren Kuhle befand. Obwohl es sehr ruhig war, wurde man nachts permanent von einer laufenden Klimaanlage, die man selber nicht steuern konnte, da sie anscheinend im ersten Stock, in der Wohnung des Vermieters, untergebracht war, geweckt. Über einen Luftschacht wurde alle halbe Stunde lautstark warme Luft eingeblasen, was zwar dringend nötig war, denn es war arschkalt, dass man das aber nicht ausschalten konnte, hatte zur Folge, dass wir immer wieder wach wurden durch das laute Geräusch. Das war echt ärgerlich.Schade eigentlich, denn das Apartment war ansonsten echt gut mit ruhiger Lage und schöner Terrasse.
