Studio at Victor Hugo

Typical Parisian studio in a 19th Century building at Victor Hugo (check and ask availability for special prices below).

It is located just 10 minutes by foot to Arc de Triomphe (Champs Elysées), to Trocadéro (Eiffel tower) and to Palais des Congrès (Airport shuttle connections). Reachable transports are suburb lignes 2, 1, 6 and 9, direct busses to Opéra (Galeries Lafayette) and to Jardin du Luxembourg (Sorbonne – quartier latin), local train RER C & E (Versailles and La Défense) and the recent tram 3.

The studio is on the 6th floor (no lift) partly under the roof and on the garden side. It is cosy furnished with a bed-sofa for 2 people, a desk and a large table for 4 people. You can make the cook at home due to fridge-freezer, oven, hotplates, microwaves, coffee-maker, toaster and Nespesso (caps available on request). Bathroom includes a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.

Bed sheets and towels are furnished.

Facilities are numerous in the neighbourhood. Bakery and pharmacy are at the bottom of the building, laundry and mini markets (including on Sundays until midnight) are at 2 minutes afoot, commercial streets and gallery are at 4 to 5 minutes afoot.

Very central location (about 10 minutes walking to the Trocadéro) and an excellent price for Paris. The host was extremely kind, welcoming and always available, giving us very helpful information before and during the stay, which really made a difference.The apartment is quite full of objects and could benefit from a more minimal setup, and there was a strong smell, so overall it requires a bit of adaptability. I would recommend it mainly if you’re prioritizing budget over comfort.

Cozy flat at a great location

Good communication with the host. The location is great, close to metro. The place is clean and got everything we need. Would recommend for sure!

The host is the best and he is very responsive and always very polite The location is the best and you can walk to many food places and supermarkets The apartment is not for the faint of heartYou arrive in the place then you have to go the the back of the building then climb endless steps about 8 or more floors in a very narrow staircase When you finally arrive at the top and open the apartment door you find a horrifying place and no air conditioning We were ok because we went at a time when it was cold so we opened the windows and it was refreshing My honest opinion the host is so nice but the place is not in renting conditions Don’t go there it is harsh to go up the steps with luggage The stairs are similar to the ones in the NotreDame cathedral rooftop

As it is written on the description of the studio, "The studio is on the 6th floor (no lift)", like the major typical studio in the city. Nothing impossible for thousands of parisians living here. But I understand you may be surprised and I wish you the best during your next travels.

Great location

I had never been to Paris before, but I really enjoyed the area where this was located. Arnaud was very communicative and made sure everything went well. Although a small studio and on the sixth floor, the inexpensive price made it worth it. Just be aware that it gets hot in the summer months with no A/C, but that is to be expected.

Great communication

Great communication prior to arrival and during stay. Stairs (over 100) to get to loft were unexpected! Not for the faint of heart or hard to move traveler. Good location in Paris. No access to any outside seating and very tiny space

Für einen kurzen Urlaub ist die Unterkunft eine tolle alternative zu den teuren Hotels. Die Lage ist wirklich super und die Wohnung verfügt über alles notwendige. Jedoch nur für maximal 2. Personen geeignet.

Zuerst das Positive: Alle Kontakte mit dem Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Check in war reibungslos und gut beschrieben.Leider war uns die Schlafmöglichkeit viel zu eng (laut Vermieter 1,3m), eventuell schmaler, die Dusche konnten wir nicht zum Laufen bringen und es waren 30Grad. Da es nachts war, haben wir den Vermieter nicht kontaktiert. Das Studio wirkte auf uns unaufgeräumt, renovierungsbedürftig und teilweise unsauber. Wir haben uns für die 2. Nacht eine andere Unterkunft gesucht.

Au calme dans un beau quartier pour pas cher

Ce logement est petit mais fonctionnel (pour cuisiner simplement) avec une douche très agréable. Il est un peu plus grand que ne le laisse supposer les photos. J'y ai passé de très bonnes nuits au calme. Il est traversant ce qui permet de bien aérer. Le quartier est très beau avec des commerces de qualité à proximité. Il faut juste ne pas avoir peur de monter les 6 étages à pied.
