Very beautiful location. House upstairs(entry level), was pretty comfy, tho, the downstairs was very musty, would not want to sleep down there.(where laundry is) Clean home. Easy check in. Quiet until neighbor started leaf-blowing.

Spectacular scenery! Our favorite part was canoeing on the lake, it was so beautiful with the fall colors all around us. Owner was really nice about letting us check in a bit early.

Great location with a sandy beach, no need to leave as you can swim, kayak and canoe right outside your door.

We spent so much time in the screened in porch but also loved the hammock, swimming and kayaking. Outdoor shower is nice (keep an eye on the spiders!) and our dog absolutely loved the private beach and easy running in and out of the water. Short drive to hikes and shops and restaurants. It was really perfect for what we wanted.

Disappointing

Smaller space than appears in photos. Beach and water not good for swimming. Geese droppings . Basement bedrooms very damp and musty, needs dehumidifiers. Screen porch not cleaned. The main floor was clean and worked well for us.

July vacation

Family of 4 and a dog stayed for a week. Kids loved the water and the kayaks. Super friendly neighbors and a quick 10 minute walk into town for ice cream/pizza was great too! Absolutely had a great time!

Love this property

We had a great vacation. Having a house on a pond just made our downtime that much more special. We had a few hiccups while staying at the house. Those things happen even if the house is pristine. I contacted the owner Cory right away. Cory responded right away and was able to help us in a timely manner. This house was about a mile from shopping, 15 minutes to the Conway Scenic Railroad and playground park in front, and about 25 minutes to Storyland. Such a great location! Thank you, Cory for letting us rent your place! Such great memories were made. We would absolutely love to come back!

Perfect Getaway

This property is absolutely beautiful! It’s in a perfect location and there was so much to do onsite, let alone all that is within the area. The host couldn’t have been more gracious either. Outside of making sure the home was welcoming, he had even checked in to make sure we were getting on ok. Definitely would book again. Thanks so much you guys!

Another wonderful visit!

We have stayed at this property several times and always have a lovely visit. The home is clean and well-maintained and very comfortable. Our children love the lake and the sandy beach. We will definitely be back!

Moldy smell

Three of the beds are located in the basement which had a strong moldy smell and we could hardly stand being there for a few minutes let alone consider sleep down there. Place was surface level clean but could use a deep clean-if walking around barefoot, your feet would be filthy after a few minutes. Enclosed patio looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Common areas including living room and dining area was very tight with seating for 3-4 people max. Very dim lighting indoors. Location is nice with close proximity to grocery/restaurants and lakeside location but when you weigh with trade offs of house I would likely not return or recommend especially if you have a larger group. Also very annoying to have to pay 5k deposit up front- the reservation didn’t even cost half that. Never had to do that before.

Wonderful stay

The property was beautiful and private. We enjoyed canoe rides and relaxing on the private beach right outside the back door. The house had so much room and was very clean. The location is very close to North Conway given plenty to do

Our favorite place!

We love coming up to visit Conway and staying at this property. The host is friendly and helpful and we love the house. Our kids spend every free minute down at the sandy beach and are always excited to come stay. We can’t wait to visit again!

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time here. The place was spotless. Everything was where the owner said it would be. The beds were nice and comfortable. You had enough pots and pans to cook in. The grill was brand new clean. Thank you for a wonderful time. See you next year!

Great little hideaway near North Conway.

Cory’s space is a great little hideaway near North Conway. Close enough to do all the typical North Conway things, but secluded and far enough away to feel like you’re deep in the woods. The private beach area and fire pit made for a relaxing spot between activities and the screened in porch let us feel like we enjoyed the outside even during a stretch of rainy days. The Josie is well kept and had everything we needed. Would definitely return!

Perfect family location

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The kids absolutely loved the calm water. The kayaks and canoe provided were of great entertainment for us. We even caught some fish out in the pond. The location was pretty close to everything as well. The open concept is great for a family and we spent quite a bit of time on the porch. Best vacation

My family, including 2 kids, enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, the beach was our favorite part. The owner was very responsive when we needed the garbage disposal attended to. He sent the plumber over and got it fixed. Our dog had a blast swimming too. We would highly recommend staying there again.

Good time at the pond

Great location, quiet and secluded but close to everything. Really enjoyed the kayaks, canoe and fire pit! Kitchen was fully stocked and up to date. The house could use some repairs/updates. Not as clean as we expected, smelled musty, very hot despite having fans. Screens missing or had holes in them, the first floor porch had no door and was not usable and the 2nd floor porch needed to cleaned. There were no instructions regarding the house such as trash, recycling, what to do with bedding etc. when we were checking out. A welcome note with instructions would be helpful. Despite that, we had a fun week and enjoyed the pond.

Great lake side cabin

Nice cabin with small lake front beach. With two canoes and two kayaks. My children really like the kayaks and coneos and exploring the lake. Close to Conway with shopping. A good time was had by all

Great spot

Our family of 4 & pup had a wonderful time. Very comfortable and lots of activities for everyone like boating, fishing, swimming or just lounging around. Close to major shops and restaurants and beautiful scenery all around. We will definitely be back!
