Tranquil 2-bedroom cabin on an acre, 4 mins to Lake Texoma!

*** Your favorite "Glamping Cabin" is back for another season! New for 2026, we have added a Monument propane-based outdoor grill and a wood-burning fire pit with Adirondack chairs to enhance your tranquility. See added photos for details. Lastly, a damage deposit is now required. It is a VRBO "card on file" hold policy similar to a car rental or hotel stay and is charged only if damage is reported. This was added due to prior property damage not covered by the optional insurance. ***

Escape to this secluded and well-appointed 2-bedroom cabin with all the modern amenities in a serene, tranquil environment! The master bedroom features a lush queen bed with LED lighting and extra under bed storage. The master bedroom also dawns an electric fireplace and a lounger chair to fully kick back and relax. The second (guest) bedroom features a bunk bed with a plush queen mattress on bottom and a full size bed on top. There's a cozy living room with a wood burning fireplace to bring everyone together. The living room flows seamlessly into the kitchen in an open concept layout and includes a large island with seating for 4. There is also adjacent bartop seating for 3.

This cabin is perfect for a small to medium group of guests with the ability to sleep up to 4 adults comfortably; however, extra guest charges of $75/guest/stay apply after the 4th guest and up to the 8-guest maximum (i.e., 4 adults/4 children, 2 adults/6 children, 6 adults/2 children, etc...no more than 6 adults allowed per stay. Please review bedding arrangements prior to booking).

The property perimeter is monitored by AI video surveillance. PLEASE NOTE: NO PETS ALLOWED. A cleaning fee will be assessed if evidence is found. Moreover, breaking house rules or any deception may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

Enjoy the pleasant amenities like central cooling & heating, reliable high-speed Starlink Internet and Wi-Fi, Google TV in every room, and a jetted bathtub in the master bathroom to soak & relax while watching your favorite shows on the Roku TV. The rocking chairs on the covered front patio is great for taking in nature. This property is a short 3-4min drive to Mill Creek Marina where you can launch your own boat or charter a day on Lake Texoma. All the joy of cabin life with upscale amenities including a 21' diameter unheated pool (open during warm months only) built into the full deck to enhance your outdoor entertainment.

I absolutely loved my stay here. My bestie and I did a girls weekend. The pool was fabulous and super clean. The house was very cute and well furnished. The kitchen was wonderful and the island was big enough for our 1000 piece puzzle! Communication with host was very quick and if we had needed anything I know it would have been easy to contact him, but we had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again.

We booked this house for a girls trip. It did not disappoint! Perfect place for a nice, quiet getaway! It only had a k-pod coffee pot and the owner had a regular coffee pot delivered before 8:30 the next morning! We will definitely be booking again! Very nice place and the pool was fabulous!!

Great Getaway

Beautiful secluded property that is well taken care of. Everything was as described and we had no surprises with the visit. The host was very detailed with his instructions for accessing all the amenities and went above and beyond to make sure everthing was perfect. We would definately stay again if our business trip takes us back this way.

We enjoyed a nice holiday weekend getaway with our teen daughter and her friend - this was a great place to relax and decompress after school got out for the summer. The host was very commutative and helpful, and we found everything as described. There was a nice bottle of prosecco on the kitchen island to welcome us when we arrived! The pool was a big hit for our teen girls. They enjoyed the basketball hoop and laying out on the lounge chairs with the umbrella. The outdoor TV is a nice option, too, along with a new grill on the deck! My husband and I enjoyed sipping coffee in the porch rocking chairs throughout the day. The fire pit around the corner, with four Adirondack chairs, is also great for s’mores and gathering. The bedrooms were nice with very comfy beds and TVs in each, and the spacious bathrooms with plenty of storage were great (TV and bath tub in the master). We enjoyed preparing meals in the spacious kitchen, stocked with essentials, Brookshire’s is only about 15 minutes away to pick up groceries for your stay. The surrounding neighborhood is nice to drive around, with a wide variety of homes on the lake. Mill Creek Marina is close by, for a closer view of the lake.We weren’t quite ready to leave this comfortable retreat. Our daughter really loved it and even said she wanted to live in it, which is high praise from this somewhat picky teen! All of that to say, we highly recommend this tranquil cabin for a calm and peaceful getaway from the city!

Thank you so much for the comprehensive review. Furthermore, we truly appreciate y'all being such a great guest and for treating the property with care like it was your own! We put in a ton of effort into each stay and are relieved whenever we are able to hit the mark, especially when guests enjoy all of the listed amenities provided. In addition, we have read your personal reply to our "raise the bar" question and have started incorporating several of your feedback to enhance future stays and make the property even more tranquil. We will look forward to your return! 🙂 Thanks again!

Great place! I highly recommend. It was very people quiet. The bugs and birds were very vocal, but I love that. Coffee on the porch as the sun comes up is wonderful. If you are a light-sensitive sleeper, bring an eye mask. Everything glows and bathroom lights are on motion sensor. This was my first experience with a "smart" house and it was fun for a weekend.

Thank you so much Samantha for your warm review and for staying at our "smart" cabin. We are glad you and your family enjoyed your time. Thank you also for pointing out the light pollution for light-sensitive sleepers. Feedback received and we'll look into a solution for guests to disable the bathrooms' motion sensors in the future. In any event, glad you were able to take in the serenity of Pottsboro. We hope to see you again soon!

Over all stay was good. House was clean. Kitchen had every thing we needed. Linen was fresh and clean. Would have liked to have had a grill. Instructions on how to utilize the outdoor TV. Motion sensored lights in restrooms kept coming on at night with any noise. Water pressure for jet tub was super slow, ended up not using it cause it would have taken so long to fill up.

We did not leave a review on you even though you and your guests broke several house rules during your stay and also damaged some items. Nonetheless, we are disappointed that you graded our property 6/10 as this is clearly an outlier compared to the numerous 10/10 ratings received previously. We put a tremendous amount of effort into trying to anticipate our guests needs and also try to be very communicative and responsive. To address some of your comments. 1) Cleanliness: We are happy you found the place to be clean and the linen fresh. The cleaning service puts in 6-8 hours of prep prior to each reservation. We have high standards and want to ensure those are reflected in the property. 2) Missing Grill: It is CLEARLY stated in the property listing that a grill is not provided at this property so I am not sure why we got ding for it. 3) Outdoor TV: The welcome guide you received prior to your stay also CLEARLY stated that the outdoor TV was inoperable and to avoid trying to turn it on. A copy of that same welcome guide was printed and left for your review at the property. 4) Motion Sensor: The motion sensors are IR based and senses body heat. They are not "sound" sensors so it is technically impossible for it to turn on with noise. You could have simply closed the bathroom doors to avoid inadvertent movement turning it on. 5) Water Pressure in Jetted Tub: You are the first to state that the water was not coming out fast enough for your taste. We have had prior guests that have used it without any issues. We will look at adjusting the speed in the future. In any event, we are glad you and your guests enjoyed your stay. We feel this rating does not reflect the property and is more of retaliation because we did not allow you to break our house rules with a pet and then with 50% more guests than the unit is designed to hold. We saw you still broke the house rules several times with loud music after 10pm all the way to midnight in some cases, and with smoking on the property. Best of luck!

Surprisingly Posh Cabin & Absolute Gem

I visit Pottsboro periodically to get away from city life. I usually avoid unrated listings but the photos definitely caught my eye. The added welcome discount was also nice which helped make my decision to book a no brainer. I must say, after staying there, I would happily pay full price. The photos drew me in, but I would venture to say the place is a lot nicer in person and indeed very modern. The property appears to be fairly new (i.e., couple years old). There were still stickers on some items throughout. The property has several smart switches, motion lighting, Internet TV, and even a panic button that engages a loud siren, which made me feel really safe (the area gets pretty dark at night). The property does have external security cameras. I was pre-warned about it when I received my door entry code prior to check-in.The kitchen area had a tablet that was used as a smart dashboard. Besides controlling the smart devices, it also supported live view of all cameras so I could get good situational awareness of the property perimeter. The unit was extremely clean and well appointed with everything I could need (besides food of course). The grocery store was conveniently 10-15 mins away. The beds were comfortable and the HVAC worked like a charm and wasn't locked by the host to allow adjustments! Lake Texoma is beautiful. I wish I had brought a boat. All in all, this was indeed a rural gem and I will look forward to visiting this property again in the near future
