Unwind in Cub Run at this adorable cabin. With 2 bedrooms including king beds and 1 loft with 4 queen beds, this retreat offers a cozy escape for up to 8 people. Enjoy amenities like peaceful lakefront w/water access, proximity to Mammoth Cave National Park and hiking trails, Wi-Fi, AC/heating, washing machine access in unfinished basement. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking in and gas grill provided. Deck faces the water. Screened in porch. The bathroom comes equipped with towels, a hair dryer, and start up basics for your convenience. The good:Plenty of beds for our gang. Everybody got plenty of rest. We enjoyed the open 1st floor and hung out inside when it was too hot to be outside. Screened in porch was also nice and relaxing while the deck offered great views and relaxation opportunities as well Not too hot:The basement seemed like it could be an awesome hangout but was pretty confusing. The projector didnt seem to be connected to anything and we werent sure how to connect to the stereo system. A guide, movie/streaming/game system on the projector and guide stereo would have made it awesome. Maybe a ping pong table or dart board would have taken it to a top tier but as it was, it was just dead space that we avoided. The toilet/shower was decommissioned and looked horrible. The ice machine was inoperable and the basement wasnt an amenity in any way. The grill and smoker were both rust and bug infested and unusable to us. Not sure if the propane tanks were full or empty but neither were able to be used because of their condition. The dock had drifted and was very unstable. We went down and fished but the bank access was far better than being on or near the dock. There also appeared to be a post sticking up in the bay that belonged to the house so i wouldnt have advised docking a boat there neither.Overall though, the place served us well. We do a lot of VRBO due to our family size. This was a decent middle-tier place with OK lake access

Beautiful house with lake veiws and lake access! Very comfortable, perfect for a low key family vacation. We cooked most evenings and the kitchen and grill were great! There are several local restaurants nearby and an Amish grocery, deli, and retail store with lots of fun finds. I highly recommend Dockside Dreams and would stay here again!

Beautiful A-frame by lakeside

A couple of friends and I needed a place to stay while we did a series of guided tours at Mammoth Cave. Found this place and was not disappointed. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and right next to a lake for water sports like swimming. The house is fully stocked with cooking items and the host is quite responsive. If I come back, we will stay here again!
