Welcome to Are We Bear Yet?, your cozy retreat in the heart of the Smokies! Located in the serene Alpine Mountain Village Resort in Pigeon Forge, this charming 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin is perfect for up to 4 guests, offering a rustic ambiance with modern comforts just 1 mile from the Parkway. The private bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, and additional queen sleeper sofas in the loft and living room provide extra space for relaxation or sleeping. Unwind in the private hot tub after a day of exploring or cozy up by the seasonal gas fireplace, available from October 1st through April 1st. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, and the outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air.

As a guest of Alpine Mountain Village Resort, you'll also have access to two seasonal pools, perfect for summertime fun. With parking for two vehicles and a location just minutes from top attractions like The Island, Dollywood, and an array of restaurants and shops, this cabin combines convenience with tranquility. Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee on the deck, a relaxing soak in the hot tub, or an evening by the seasonal (Oct 1 - April 1) gas fireplace, Are We Bear Yet? offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience for your Smoky Mountain getaway.

Sleeping arrangements: 1 Queen Bed, 1 Sleeper Sofa

*You must be 25 years of age*

Please note: The cabin is supplied with linens and bath towels. We only supply a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap & liquid, and bath bar soap. You are then responsible for said items during the remainder of your stay.

**To finalize your booking with Red Door Getaways, you must sign a Rental Agreement and provide a state or federal photo ID. We will send you a link to our "Boarding Pass" guest portal via text message, where you can securely upload your ID and a matching selfie. Once these are completed, you will receive access to the property guidebook. Your reservation is confirmed only after we receive the signed agreement and valid ID.**

“Are we bear yet” stay.

The mattress in the bedroom is very hard. My husband and I are in our 30s and young. We could feel the springs in our backs, and it felt like we were laying on boards. The tvs are outdated. They are not smart tvs. The tv in the bedroom is so small you can barely see what’s on it. The outside deck felt unsecure. Other than the above, the cabin was very clean. It’s in a great location. The check in process was easy. The cabin just needs the above things updated.

Great Location

Excellent cabin in close proximity to the main strip, yet nestled in a secluded neighborhood. Great amenities and served us well for exploring Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and surrounding areas.

Great location

Overall we loved the cabin. It was very cute and had a great location. However, I had 3 issues. 1.The bed was the worst I have ever attempted to sleep in. I bought an air mattress and used that instead of Aslan's stone table. 2. We only had one wash cloth until we located the rest in the dryer (where they had been left to air dry) on the last day. 3. The thermostat was only partially functional.

Empty Nesters

The cabin was I feel the perfect size for a couple ! The Temperature was unchangable at 68 very comfortable and relaxing, kitchen supplied with all you need plus the location is quiet and convenient in 5 minutes my favorite places in Pigeon Forge and off to anywhere is close, plus we made no service calls yay!

We thought the cabin was beautiful. We loved that it was a 2 story and game room and pool table were up there. The location was nice and we walked around the area alot. We plan to stay there again next year.

Great Stay

The property is beautiful, peaceful, quiet and relaxing, didn’t want to go home. Cabin was exactly how it was described, can’t wait to go back. We very much enjoyed ourselves!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

Baseball trip

My kids and I stayed there for a baseball trip. It was perfect for us. The property was absolutely beautiful. My only complaint and it's a small one, is that there is only 1 tiny dresser in the bedroom. I wish the drawers were bigger to be able to put shorts and other items in. But that's my only complaint and it's not deal breaker. I would absolutely stay there again.

Honeymoon Stay

My wife and I were up for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the short drive to Gatlinburg and the many options for food in the area. A must stop in and try is the Diner. 100% will be back with our son soon.

Beautiful cabin

Are we bear yet is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Close to town but very quiet. Never got in hot tub but it was a nice touch. Driving around in area there are many choices for the right size for every family just a get away for two or family get together. Grounds are kept up nicely. Highly recommend and we would love to come back.

Getaway weekend

Very convenient location to everything in pigeon forge. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but everything else was great. We would definitely stay here again if we go back.
