The mountains are calling! Escape to cozy Blue Hour A-Frame and unwind in a peaceful setting. Blue Hour has been updated with modern amenities for your comfort. The fenced backyard is carefree for your pups to play in while you enjoy the hot tub and chiminea. Head over to Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, just an 11 mile / 19 minute ride away, taking you through a scenic notch along the West Branch of the Ausable River. Lake Placid is 20 miles / 30 minutes away. The HOA allows one *unoccupied* camper / RV to be parked.

Our updated A-Frame log cabin is nestled on almost one acre, surrounded by tall birch and pine trees. The main space is open with high vaulted ceilings and windows that fill the space with natural light. Here you can enjoy the living room with the cozy warmth of the propane stove, record player, smart TV, workspace, and dining area. The kitchen is well-appointed. Also on the main floor are the primary bedroom with king bed, bathroom, and a sitting room with a full-sized pull out couch where the washer & dryer are located. Additional sleeping is located upstairs in the loft where you will find a comfortable queen bed. The backyard is fenced so your pups can run and play while you relax on the deck or enjoy time spent by the chiminea. The hot tub is waiting for you.

This property has an exterior security camera at the front door entry. In an effort to be a good neighbor, and adhere to the Town's noise ordinance, events and parties are not permitted. Quiet hours include 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. Underage drinking is not allowed. Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Please contact us to discuss if you would like to have guests visit.

Dogs are welcome at $75 per dog, per stay, up to two dogs.

PLEASE NOTE: The stairs to the second bedroom are shallow and steep. Stairs are present for both interior and exterior.

Security camera covers the front entry and driveway.

Please drive slowly and respectfully in the neighborhood. We ask that vehicles be limited to 3 at this property; an occupied camper / RV would be included. Park in the driveway, not along the road or in the yard. Furniture should not be moved.

AuSable Acres Homeowners’ Association offers trails, Lake Eaton (not recommended for swimming), pickleball / tennis courts, and Ausable River fishing at the end of Signor Rd. Current NYS fishing licenses are required. If asked for the HOA amenities pass, please offer our address as the owners are current members of the HOA. We can send an image of the pass if you need it; the pickleball / tennis court code is on it. The HOA allows one *unoccupied* camper / RV to be parked and guests sleep in the home and should not exceed our guest limit. Failure to comply will result in a $500 fine and guests will be asked to vacate with no refund.

We will contact you the day before arrival with your custom keypad code and welcome information through the booking platform’s message system and, if provided, to your email address. On the keypad, tap the house icon and then enter your code. For your stay, we provide 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 3 laundry pods, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dish soap and hand soap. Please let us know if you need additional supplies. A washcloth, bathing towel and a towel for the hot tub are provided for each guest. A propane stove is in the A-Frame. You may want to bring charcoal for the grill. Wood for the outside chiminea is available at roadside stands and local stores.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Enjoy the chiminea, remembering to collect trash and be sure the embers are out. We ask that Wednesday evening guests please place trash & recycling (flatten boxes) into the bins for Thursday morning collection; the collection company provides a walk-up service for them. Please flatten your cardboard. The hot tub should remain covered when not in use.

Guests are asked to enter email and phone number to access free WiFi at this location. In accordance with booking platform policy, we use apps to facilitate our guest experience and these apps may request contact information before, during, and after your confirmed stay.

Occasionally, dependent upon our cleaning schedule and other bookings, we might be able to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out (up to 2:00 pm for late). 12:00 pm -1:59 pm for early check-in and 12:01 pm - 2:00 pm for late check-out would be $50 each.

Departure day: Please wash all used kitchen items. Strip the beds that were occupied, leaving all bedding atop the beds. Empty refrigerator. Place used bath & dish towels by the washer & dryer. Please place bagged trash & recycling (flatten your cardboard) in the collection bins. Turn things off. Be sure to close and lock all windows and exterior doors. Please check that the hot tub is covered. Please pick up after your pups. Thank you.
