When I moved to Thailand I first lived in Patong, Phuket for two years then moved to the border with Laos for the next 8 years. At least twice a year I would drive around Thailand looking at raw land or established houses but nothing struck me till I found Kui Buri. This is real Thailand. The village itself is 7 km from the beachfront and there you can find all the modern conveniences you would expect while on this beach the are less than 10 homes and guest houses. Historically this region has been important both nationally and internationally . Nationally in that this province is the number one tourist destination for Thai citizens and we are famous for our pineapple production, shrimp farms, National Parks and one of the largest elephant preserves in the country. Architecturally the region is replete with beautiful Buddhist temples.
