This comfortable updated home is a perfect location for a family reunion or weekend retreat & offers a spacious and peaceful experience for your vacation. Bring your boat or rent one nearby to explore the Harris Chain of Lakes by water & cruise the Dora Canal to Lake Eustis. Access the Lake via a private small boat ramp on the property or via one of the many public boat ramps in the area.

Beautiful location to enjoy both Tavares & Mt Dora. Can not beat that lake view and especially with beautiful sunsets like we had. Living space of home is spacious and good for being together. Host was helpful and responsive.

Location was great. 5min away from downtown Tavares, and 15min away from downtown Eustis and Mount Dora. The house was clean and everything worked. Host was very accommodating and great at communicating. Came up to visit my wife’s grandmother. Will stay here again.

We loved our stay here! The view was incredible, the space was spotless, and the location couldn’t be better. The home had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We’re already looking forward to booking again next year!

Communication was not good I asked of few questions before arriving and no response.I had to contact the host to get my check in info due the fact that I had not heard from anybody and it was the day of arrival and it was 10:00 in the morning and I still had not heard from anyone.I was told I couldn't check in until 4:00 but on the website said check in was 3:00 check and 11:00 check out host did not believe me I had to actually send a picture of HER VRBO listing then I was told that I had to check out my 10:00 but yet it said check out was at 11:00 Upon arrival I guess they were so worried about us checking in early that they gave me a bogus security code to the door and as I'm trying to use that security code I suddenly get a text message with the real security code. I have stayed in many VRbo and I've never had issues until this oneIt was a beautiful home great location but I will not go back due to communication issues and basically being called out on the check-in time and check out time I actually had to send the host a screenshot and then she tells me that I can't stay till 11:00 because they had other people coming I would suggest to the host that you might want to take care of your VRBO listing and the times of check-in and check out and not call out somebody as if I was lying to them

We absolutely loved the house. Very clean, spacious home with all the amenities you need and more. The location couldnt be better. Excellent communication from the host. We highly recommended this lake house.

All aspects of the accommodations were better than expected. A solid 11 out of 10. A great stay for 4 adults or a small family. I think you get the picture, we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you

This was a great experience from beginning to end. Before I booked I had several questions that she answered very quickly. The house is very nice and very clean and includes countless details that make the stay so much better. Overall great experience.

Perfect Lakefront getaway

We had an absolute wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home. The setting was peaceful and offered a lovely view, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The house had all the amenities we could wish for and more! From the coffee pods and creamer to the binoculars for viewing wildlife, every detail was thoughtfully provided. The house was spotless, the couch was incredibly comfortable, and there was ample seating both inside and out on the deck. The deck was the perfect spot for watching the sunset. The host was quick to respond to questions both before and during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend the property. Our only regret was not staying longer.
