The host is very communicative and took great care to make sure we were comfortable and had no issues. The house had plenty of room or our party of 9 and Rajeev was very accommodating when we had our future daughter in law and her service pet join us at the last minute!The home was clean, well-appointed, and had great linens - the hallmark of a good short term rental!We will definitely be back!

The host was very responsive and the house extremely clean! The bedrooms on the top floor had very low ceilings and there are only two showers so it wouldn’t have worked for more than a couple of nights for our group. We were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with extended family and had room to spread out which was nice. Thanks Rajeev!

Extremely clean and well prepared home stocked with items we may need. Plenty of space for all guests. Comfortable beds. Felt safe with the use of electronic keypad entry and security system. Very well maintained. Historic feel with modern amenities. Great location in regards to where we needed to be. Able to communicate with host who assisted in accommodations. Plenty of parking. Lovely place.

This house is a gem in a quiet middle class neighborhood in Bridgeport, CT. I can say this with full authority since I lived in BPT until my early twenties.We rented this house for a funeral gathering that included eight overnight guests. The host was responsive from my first inquiry and since I was around the corner anyway, he stopped to let me and my elderly dad see it. You can definitely categorize it as a McMansion. Downstairs is spacious with a nice kitchen and table. Pro tip: the kitchen table chairs recline! There is a huge backyard and a porch with two sitting areas. Guests at the gathering were able to hang out downstairs where food was set up buffet style on the dining room table. They also were outside on the porch or in the living area where there is a countertop table and a TV that someone had figured out how to play music on. The kids enjoyed the huge yard and played tag and soccer and dared each other to climb a tree. There is a half bath downstairs in the kitchen that they used. Overnight guests used the second and third floor bathrooms. The bedrooms on the second floor have queen or dull beds and there is one bedroom with an en suite. The third floor has three bedrooms and two have twins. One room was empty but the host purchased a sofa bed with trundle for our visit specifically! Linens and towels included.Third floor has sloped ceilings so you do have to watch your head. Great find! I’d rent again.

Beechmont House

This property is absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean. The host was very attentive to my questions before and after check in. The host checked on my family during our stay. The yard, the porches, and the entire interior are so cozy and comfortable. The check in and check out processes were smooth. The neighborhood is quiet. I am already looking forward to going back! Definitely recommend the Beechmont House

Hello, I’m Rajeev Chennattu, founder of Regency Real Estate in Scarsdale, New York. I was born and raised in Kerala, India, and like many who dream big, I followed my siblings to the United States in search of opportunity. After earning my degree from IONA College, I built a career in real estate and established Regency Real Estate, where I continue to develop, manage, and invest in properties across New York and Connecticut.

Today, I live in Fairfield, Connecticut, with my wife, our two sons, and my daughter-in-law — and together we take great pride in welcoming guests to our beloved Beechmont House.

For nearly twenty years, Beechmont House has held a special place in my family’s story. Once a stately residence that served as high-quality student housing for Sacred Heart University, it has since been lovingly transformed into a luxury vacation retreat. Every room reflects a blend of old-world craftsmanship and modern comfort, from the classic millwork and generous proportions to the wraparound porches perfect for gathering, celebrating, or simply relaxing with loved ones.

My philosophy as a host is simple: anticipate guests’ needs before they arise. I believe hospitality is about care in the details — ensuring that every stay feels personal, comfortable, and memorable.

When I’m not hosting, I spend my time exploring real estate opportunities, running forest trails, gardening, and delving into history and politics.
