My dog, Moon, and I had a wonderful, peaceful time at this rental this summer! This cabin is well-designed in a compact, very comfortable space. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals and the dining table has a wonderful view of Dark Cove. It was warm enough while I was there to eat breakfast and lunch out on the lakeside deck. We used the air conditioning when it became too hot. The bathroom shower is a full tub-sized shower, which is unusually spacious for a northern Maine camp! One day, I took a relaxing paddle around the island in one of the kayaks provided. My favorite part of our stay, however, was the neighborhood loon, who came by at least once a day to fish out front and occasionally serenade with a familiar loon yodel! I would highly recommend this rental. It is attached to a large family house behind it, but there was no one there during the time I rented, so it was very quiet.
