We wanted to be generous with the review - the host Melissa is very nice and responsive, and I think we were the first guests they had at this property. The space seems brand new, so everything was clean, pretty and seemingly never used - to the point where the fridge wasn't plugged in and there were no batteries in the a/c or fan remotes (we eventually found some in the TV remote and prioritized them for the a/c). No towels were provided, which was tricky with a family of 4 at a beach rental - I'm talking shower/bath towels - like we had to drip dry. The shower doesn't work - it looked so nice, but none of the water comes out of the water nozzles, it just leaks out of the edge of the shower head. When you do shower, the whole bathroom becomes a puddle - we just laughed about it, but it was a mess. Especially with no towels/bath mats....PROS- the mountains are Spectacular from this place. Hindsight, I would have all the windows and deck facing the secluded serene mountain scape instead of overlooking the neighbor's/family home. Overall, you can make this place work, expect some kinks, a nice responsive host (she tried to get us towels after the fact but wasn't able to), gorgeous mountain sunrises, and easy walk to the beach. I'm sure they'll figure out the kinks with more renters/experience.
