Booking process is easy through VRBO. Communication from the host was minimal and only happened if I initiated it. Family of 5 adults booked a facility to accommodate 6. We arrived at around 9:30pm. Key pickup was easy and the property is beautiful. Opinions changed upon entering the room. First impression was a stale odor. Overall interior seemed clean until we opened up the sofa bed. Immediately noticing crumbs in the bed and then see the dried blood stain about 2”x3” in size. Absolutely disgusting. Folded that bed right back up. We made due and got through the night. Finished the check in process in the morning and mention the stain. They offered to see if another unit was available. We neglected as we’ve already tolerated one night of this. They were quick to let it go at that. The free tickets you receive won’t be available on site. They have to be accessed digitally which didn’t work for us and we had to call and have them emailed to us. Calling a call center is the last thing I want to do when on a weekend getaway with family. We won’t be back and we will tell all friends of our experience so others don’t waste their money here.
