Spent my first year out of college as a Chemical engineer from MTU in Chicago working for Amoco chemicals. Corporate life in the big city didn't seem to fit so off to med school with the US Army to Med in a research position. I was retired after being injured and spending three years in Walter Reed Hospital. Tired of medical world I got an associates in interior design and went on the art show curcuit literally traveling and selling my arty creation around the world.
When my son was ready to start school, I decided to settle down and got into the periphery of medicine, hired as a drug rep for Easai selling Aricept for Alzheimer's and Aciphex for GERD. Though the money was good I knew I had a calling for more meaningful approach to healing.
Back to massage school,(I know, seems like I am always in school!) The staff nicknamed me Sparky for my abundance of both healing energy and energetic personality. They recommended me to move into energy medicine and I started the 3 levels of Reiki upon graduation. I am now a third level master teacher meaning I can teach and attune others to this form of healing.
Ultimately I want to turn both houses and the therapy room to an all inclusive place where people can come for as long as they need for healing. I have 15 certifications in bodywork and have formed many working relationships with other gifted healers in the area for things outside of my specialties. That's besides the hiking trail traversing the mountain each time passing through a representative chakra area to promote awareness, balance, and healing.
Each time I rent one of my homes the $$ go to improving property and preparing to make it a place of respite and healing on all levels for those suffering.
