Very nice Swiss experience

Iti was a wonderfull experience in this Swiss home. Very nice views with a wonderful balcony.A modest but very complete home. A sufficient kitchen and a modest bathroom. With big beds ( very nice for my length) but just fitting in the rooms but sufficient closet space. When we arrived it was necessary to ventilatie the house first.

Lovely little chalet with a wonderful view.

The chalet is in a wonderful setting and just by the bus stop for the ski lifts.It is pretty small, so it helps if everyone gets on well.Comfortable and well-equipped. With parking spots for the cars. Our only problem was we couldn't find the key to get to the washing machine.

Beautiful, cozy little chalet with a great view. Les Fetiches is a very comfortable cozy little chalet that has everything you need for a great stay in the mountains. It is ideally situated a 10 minutes walk from the village centre shops and ski lift. It has a great view over the valley and mountains and during our week the weather was gorgeous and you could enjoy the sun on the balcony. We found it perfect for 2 and would come back anytime.

Amazing family holiday and lovely property.

We would truly recommend this lovely property for a great stay in anzere. We went as a family of four and the property was well equipped very warm and cosy. Everything you could need present. Skiing was amazing in anzere easy to hire equipment. Lovely spa in the village. Bus outside property every 15 minutes to village. Communication between owners faultless. We had such an amazing holiday and recommend it highly.

All one could hope for from a chalet in the Alps

A wonderfully cosy chalet a short distance from the town and very conveniently located for the ski bus. Large garage and ski/boot store and enormous boiler for all those hot baths after a hard day on the slopes! Anzerre is the most charming, low-key Swiss village with a Co-Op, bakery, pizzeria, summer/winter sports hire shops and Indoor swimming pool and spa in the centre of the village. What more could one ask for? - we have already booked again for next year!

Great central location for day trips

We rented this chalet for ten days in August 2013. While we only spent our evenings here, it was a great location to start a number of day trips in the Valais. The chalet was large enough for my wife, my three teenage daughters and myself and well located in the heart of Anzere. The house was clean and well maintained and the Wi-Fi was great for the kids to talk to their friends in Canada. The owner was very hospitable and easy to get in contact with. There is a washer and dryer which is very convenient and a grocery store minutes away.

Anzère Les Fétiches, Episode III

This was our third winter holiday week at Les Fétiches, and again a fantastic one : this year we've been lucky enough to have a LOT of snow, which made our holiday even more attractive. It has probably been many years since there wasn't as much snow, on the ski tracks as well as in the village. On the tracks the quantity was huge, and the quality was there, too : I haven't seen better snow since the beginning of the 1990's. And after skiing, there isn't a better place than the chalet Les Fétiches to relax and watch the snow falling, while the children are playing outside, enjoying their first real white winter... Thank you for this wonderful week, we hope to be able to come back again.

Second stay, always fantastic !

This is our second holiday at Les Fétiches, and I think we enjoyed it even more than last year ! The comfort of the chalet was indeed very much appreciated, as we had a couple of snowy days... but thanks to that fresh snow, skiing has been fantastic. We even discovered some new ski tracks that we had not seen last year... Our two girls passed a new level at the Swiss Ski School, and began to ski off tracks with their instructor, through the fir forest bordering the "Rousses" track – one of the most enjoyable I have ever seen through the Alps. Just like last year we also noticed how kind and helpful the staff at the Anzère skilifts is, always helping children and ski beginners to climb on the chairs at the chairlifts for instance. It is not always the case elsewhere (particularly in French ski resorts). As a conclusion, we can just repeat ourselves, and confirm that ski holidays at Les Fétiches in Anzère is certainly among the best holiday experiences you can dream of ! We hope we come back next year…

Probably our best winter vacation !

This is the first time we stay in Switzerland for our winter holidays, and it has been a wonderful experience. The resort is perfect for our family - not too large (we have 2 girls of 9 and 7), but with long ski slopes, very enjoyable. The chalet was perfect for us : absolutely clean, very cosy, it really felt as if we were in a family home (which is actually the case !). Its location is great : it is not in the heart of the Anzere resort, which is why it so quiet. But at the same time, the shuttle bus' stop to the village is only 20 meters away, and the bus passes every 15 or 20 minutes, so the access to the ski slopes and the village is really easy (even with small children). So you don't have to bother with the car (it didn't leave its parking place, right next to the chalet, for the whole week !), which is also another asset of the place... We also put our girls to the Swiss Ski School every afternoon, and they were delighted : the ski teachers are highly competent, and extremely kind and patient with children. Above all I would like to thank the proprietor, Mr. Prior, for his kindness, and the quality of the relationship that we had by e-mail. He has been extremely helpful, giving many advice and information on the chalet, the resort, shops, etc... Many thanks too to his brother Gerald, who lives in Anzere, and is also a ski teacher at the Swiss Ski School : he was there to welcome us when we arrived, and saw us out at the end of our stay, giving also many advice, and adding a "family touch" to this wonderful holiday... Schnelle, einfache und nette Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Haus ist wie erwartet klein aber sehr gemütlich, sauber und hat alles was man (zu viert) benötigt. Großer Keller mit genug Platz für Skier etc. Lage ist super. Für 1 Woche Skiurlaub wirklich klasse!

Tolle Lage in einer härzigen Unterkunft

Das Haus ist wie beschrieben klein und auf 2 Ebenen. Wir waren zu 5 da und haben mit unseren kleinen Kindern nur den oberen Stock genutzt. Tiny-House-feeling! Es hat alles, was es braucht, der Bus fährt fast direkt vor der Tür ab. Das Skigebiet ist gut erreichbar. Das Haus ist etwas älter und mich Charme. Die Kommunikation war zuverlässig und wir bekamen alle nötigen Informationen. Als wir ankamen, mussten wir die Betten selber beziehen und es gab nur eine winzig kleines Päckchen an Spülmittel, obwohl wir eine Woche gebucht haben. Diese „Grosszügigkeit“ haben wir vermisst. Wir hatten eine Tolle Zeit im Haus und empfehlen das Objekt sehr! Danke! Liebe GrüsseMonika und Ben Das

Joli chalet bien situé

Un séjour ressourçant dans un petit chalet chaleureux situé dans un endroit calme, à deux pas du bus navette et bénéficiant d'un ensoleillement idéal et d'une vue superbe. L'espace convenait très bien pour 3 personnes et un chien mais serait trop petit pour 6 personnes comme le prévoit l'annonce. De plus la troisième chambre n'est accessible que par l'extérieur.

Schönes gemütliches Chalet

Wir waren für eine Woche über Weihnachten hier mit 5 Personen und Hund. Ja, es ist ein kleines Häuschen und man muss sich schon mit so vielen Personen etwas arrangieren. Aber es ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und auch das Kochen in der kleinen Küche klappt wunderbar. Selbst ein Fondue Set ist vorhanden, was wir mit dem leckeren Gruyère vom nahegelegenen COOP genutzt haben. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und super freundlich.

Sehr empfehlenswert für Naturliebhaber und Erholungssuchende

Liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich, es ist alles da, was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt und sogar Grundnahrungsmittel für den ersten Urlaubstag, Reinigungsmittel etc. waren ausreichend vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war bereits bei der Buchung hervorragend. Die Lage super ruhig. Wir haben uns gut erholen können. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub! Dankeschön!

Das Haus bot einen optimalen Startpunkt für unsere Wandertouren, von denen ausreichend viele ohne Auto erreichbar waren. Für unseren Urlaub zu zweit erwies sich das Haus groß genug, und Hugh als wunderbarer Vermieter sorgte für alle Rahmenbedingungen.

Little Cosy Chalet

We‘ve spent a wonderful week in the Chalet des Fetiches. It’s small, but comfortable, warm and pretty. The kitchen is new and everything works except that we couldn’t find the capsules for the coffee machine (delizio) in the coop in the village. There is a close by bus stop and the village center is within walking distance. The only things missing were a shower curtain and a brush and dustpan. The view from the balcony is fantastic.

Heerlijke vakantie!

Hugh is een voortreffelijke gastheer met wie we uitgebreid contact hebben gehad voor vertrek en ook tijdens ons verblijf. Hij reageert heel snel en doet alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Het chalet was aan de kleine kant voor vijf personen (2 volwassenen, 3 tieners). De keuken was wat behelpen, maar in het najaar zal er worden verbouwd. Anzère is een fantastisch uitgangspunt voor mooie wandelingen en in de omgeving valt genoeg te doen en zien. Het dorp zelf is vooral gericht op wintertoerisme, maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad!

Charmantes Chalet in wunderschöner Umgebung

Zuerst: Der Vermieter ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett und gibt zahlreiche wertvolle Tipps für all die schönen Dinge, die man in Anzère unternehmen kann. Das Chalet liegt günstig, Parkplatz ist unproblematisch vorhanden. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr klein, eher passend für maximal vier Personen. Im Bad ist keine Dusche und kein Duschvorhang, also etwas rustikaler, ebenso sind die Steckdosenmöglichkeiten beschränkt. Die Küche ist nur für kleinere Kochtätigkeiten, wenn überhaupt, geeignet. Wir hatten in der Küche einen kleinen Wasserschaden, der wurde aber anstandslos und problemlos in unserer Abwesenheit behoben. Insgesamt: Rustikal und einfach, für kleine Kinder nicht optimal geeignet, aber perfekt gelegen mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Berge, auch den Mont Blanc, mit nahem Liftzugang und vielen Wandermöglichkeiten. Danke für die schöne Zeit!
