Escape to a stunning 2021 cabin just west of Blue Ridge, on the edge of the Cohutta wilderness. At Majestic Mountain Lookout, you can enjoy year round breathtaking mountain views, a private hot tub, and endless entertainment in the game room. Cozy up to one of the three fireplaces, dine at the outdoor table, and relax on the rocking chair porch. Driving access is fast and easy via wide paved roads. Close to hiking, fishing, and Blue Ridge’s attractions, this retreat offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

Guests have access to entire cabin and property except mechanical space and owner's closet.

Other things to note: be advised that cell phone signal is poor to non existent in the area. Make sure to have driving directions prior to travel.

The roads to the cabin are paved, unless there is extreme snow or ice you do not need 4WD.

There is parking for up to 4 cars. This cabin is in a community with neighbors surrounding the property so please be mindful of quiet hours.

Please consider travel insurance as we are unable to provide a discount or refund for weather, illness, or travel related issues.

Stunning views, cozy inside and outside. LOVED all the fireplaces! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Helen was amazing with answering back quick to any questions we had and was so friendly. I will definitely be back!

Lovely home in an ideal location, close to the town of Blue Ridge and far enough to feel absorbed in the peaceful surroundings. My husband and I enjoyed our week in Helen’s beautifully appointed home; perhaps the nicest VRBO we’ve stayed in.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and the scenery is amazing. The home is very clean. I didn’t see a cobweb or trace of dust anywhere. We only had one issue with the house and the hosts were very quick to respond and help us resolve. We appreciated the follow up as well. I would like to point out that there are three other cabins very close to this one. If you are looking for secluded, this isn’t it. The cabin through the trees, below the cabin was partying until 3am all 3 nights and very loud during the day. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at The Mountainside Market, located about two miles from the cabin. It’s a great option for burgers and sandwiches. Venturing back into back into Blue Ridge can take 20-25 mins so keep that in mind when you are planning meals.

We didn't want to leave. The cabin is beautiful and the view is gorgeous. The beds & pillows were awesome. Best sleep I've had in a while. We stayed at the next door cabin a couple of years ago and there was deer everyday. Zero deer on property this year. I guess becaise there is a bear, which i saw. It walked across the deck of the cabin across the way. The blackberries were still there though. Fresh from the mountain. My granddaughter loved going out and picking and eating them. If you have a little one make sure you bring baby gates. The stairs to the down stairs has no door.

We chose this place because of the high rating it had and the view. It did not disappoint on both counts. It was very tastefully furnished and had everything we needed and more. My wife particularly loved all the proverbs on the walls. We cooked every day and evening and did not need a thing from the kitchen. The view was spectacular and peaceful at the same time. We hardly left the house because it was so cozy. Helen, the host was always there to answer Any question i had on the spot and continually emailed us to make sure all was good. Absolutely wonderful home. We will be back for sure

Beautiful property!

My husband and I just completed our five night stay and it was wonderful! The house is amazing! The decor is beautiful and the kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to cook amazing meals - no need to go anywhere! The view is amazing and the deck with fireplace is so relaxing. A true treasure of a property!

The view!!

My husband and I stayed in this home for 35 days and we loved it!! The view is amazing!! It has everything you need and we liked the layout for visiting family. The beds are comfortable and cozy. The furniture was comfy in the living spaces and enjoyed curling up on the couch and watching tv with that view. The hot tub was the best one we’ve had in a rental. The house has modern decor and we appreciated that as well. Look no further, this house has what you need!

Great weekend getaway with family

Helen was easy to communicate with, the listing does not do the property justice. Amazing home on paved road with ample parking. The home is beautifully decorated and Helen has thought of everything, ensuring the home is well stocked for your stay. The views from all levels of the home are breath taking. The beds are very comfortably, bathrooms are supplied well with towels and toiletries. Our family has started planning our next stay.

Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I spent the weekend here and were immediately stunned by the view when we approached the house. The mountains in the background, the quiet area, hot tub and overall environment of the house was more than we could have asked for. Easy check in and check out too! Would love to come back here with our family so we can use the pool table!

Quick weekend getaway!

We had a lovely long weekend in this home. It had stunning views, everything inside was beautifully decorated, very clean and the beds were so comfortable!! We were able to catch some amazing sunrises from the balcony. The property manager is extremely responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful Mountain Home with Serene Views

We had an amazing time and enjoyed the views from this beautiful home . Easy to access and was perfect when we arrived ! Plenty of room for our family and we enjoyed having Thanksgiving here Kitchen is well equipped with all you need to cook any meal. The home was so clean and we loved the fireplaces upstairs and downstairs . The hot tub was a win too! I highly recommend this property it is quiet yet just a short drive down to blue ridge shopping and dining .

A Wonderful Place to Vacation

We had a fabulous time at this lovely home. It is furnished beautifully, has a great layout, and we enjoyed the beautiful views. We especially loved the outdoor area off the Family Room. We burned the fireplace each evening outside and had our Happy Hour there. This was a belated birthday gift for my 93-year old mother, and she absolutely loved it. She only had to navigate 5 steps to get into the main living area of the home which also has the kitchen, very comfortable bedroom with ensuite bath, and views with the large covered porch, outdoor dining, and sitting area with the fireplace.
