Not family friendly
Know that there are two steep staircases you’ll need to take your luggage up because there is not an elevator. The apartment was 78 degrees when we arrived and we couldn’t get it any cooler. The last night it was 81 degrees in the apartment. I contacted the LL the second day and was told maintenance would check the air conditioner. I never heard back about what happened but it remained warm. There is also a large dehumidifier that is noisy in the living area. There were no instructions AT ALL for anything, The kitchen is not functional. We hoped to cook a meal there once a day, but there were no kitchen towels, no dish drying rack or drain board and no pot holders. There was no ice or ice cube trays to make ice. The only towels in the kitchen was an industrial roll of paper that you had to rip off. The bathrooms had holes in the wall and dirty fans. The shelves were broken. There was an air mattress but it had a hole and wouldn’t stay inflated. The closet doors were very hard to open and close. Beds had a bottom sheet and heavy duvet. With the temperature in the upper 70s, the duvets were not usable. I asked if there were top sheets and the LL said they no longer use them. There was no extra bedding provided at all. We asked for extra pillows and got 2 and extra towels and got more. We had to ask for more TP. I notified the LL that a shooting occurred at the apartment blowing out both security glass doors and she responded there was vandalism downplaying the situation.
