Very unique stay so overall cool experience location wise. The boat itself had mold everywhere and did not seem to be kept up much as there was trash on the deck and various items laying around. None of the lights worked while we stayed there which also hindered the experience. With some effort put into the cleanliness and little details of comfort this could be a phenomenal stay!

Boat life!

My overall stay on Nico’s boat was great. The location was awesome, and the boat itself was very cute and cozy. However, it did not feel very clean at all on the inside. The keys were next to the lock box vs inside of it, and the doors of the boat were wide open. Communication with Nico was great once I got a hold of him via text! The only compliant would be the cleanliness aspect, but I still had a great time.

Grea area, cute boat

Must be agile to get in and out. Absolute great walking area with beautiful views, many food and bar choices. Bathrooms across the way are clean.

Rustic Sailboat

As Nico said, “it’s like camping on water”. The boat is small but nice, the location and surroundings are great. It would be tough to be in if you are tall or not agile.

Wonderful concept, AMAZING area

We always wanted to stay on a houseboat. Found this one and understood we would be "roughing" it. But we weren't really prepared for this type of accommodation. With just a little effort and love put into the property it would be an awesome place to stay. Hell we would even stay here again if it was just cared for a bit more. It was amazing waking up on the water and the area was close to everything. Simple things like lights and blankets and towels would have made a huge difference in our experience. We are thankful for the experience but dissappointed and felt a bit neglected.

Marina delrey boat

Things did not go smoothly. I did not hear from the owner until hours before check in. Finding the lockbox was not easy. The first lock box I opened did not have a key so it was in the second one. Then when I went to put the key back the code that he gave me did not work. The owner was nice. It's just when things did not work smoothly it was difficult to reach him. I was glad that the boat had a power source. It had a microwave but did not have a fridge. I purchased a small styrofoam cooler so that was helpful. I'm learning about freedom and everything else. The bathroom frequently ran out of toilet paper so I am glad I brought my own.

Misleading listing

The host communicated promptly at check-in, but immediately asked us to contact him outside of the VRBO platform. He also requested that we not tell neighbors we rented the property through VRBO, and instead say we were just friends visiting—an uncomfortable and concerning request.While check-in itself was smooth, the rental had several serious issues. There was no functional lighting—none of the installed fixtures worked, and the battery-powered lights provided did not turn on. The parking permit was also missing, despite the host specifying where it would be. When contacted about these problems, the host dismissed our concerns and made no effort to resolve them.Additionally, the boathouse has no bathroom on board, despite that the listing states 1 bathroom. There are only bathrooms in a public area that are available for guest use, with a key fob.The boathouse lacks basic necessities like lighting, a bathroom, and an unresponsive host. This listing is highly misleading and does not reflect the reality of the stay.
