Unicorn Zebra, In the heart of downtown Tucson, is a one of a kind upscale boutique hotel. A more central, yet peaceful location is hard to find downtown. Only 9 minutes walk from the Tucson Convention Center, 3 minutes from the Fox Theater, One minute from the Streetcar to the University of Arizona and a 2 minute drive to the I10, we are perfectly located to access all that Tucson has to offer. Every room is uniquely furnished by the owners, carefully designed for your comfort as a home away from home. The rooms and boast 14ft ceilings, oversized televisions, crisp white high thread count linens, coffee-making facilities and spacious en-suite bathrooms with oversized bath tub and/or contemporary showers. The Unicorn Zebra s also home to a popular cocktail bar serving a niche range of carefully curated cocktails, bourbon, tequila, mezcal, wine and more. Come experience a destination unlike any other in the city. It's luxury combined with home comfort, just off the main drag. A true local gem.

This beautiful historic building once housed the Citizen Newspaper. Built in 1913, it was once the tallest building in the whole city. Located in the heart of downtown Tucson in a quiet suburb, the location is just off Broadway, walking distance from the street car, convention center, theaters and restaurants. The building reminded us so much of the Cape Dutch structures back home, it felt like home and we decided to transform the space into something that could quit literally comfortably transplant into Cape Town and not seem odd. Tucson has been recognized as one of the world's greatest places by Time Magazine. If you visit the Desert Museum (just a short drive from here) you will experience one of the many reasons why it earned this name.
