This home was designed for decerning travelers. Truely custom with high-end, detailed furnishings and fixtures throughout. Riverside Mountainview Lodge, is adorned with unique artwork and endless amenities. The Sunday River is just steps from the back door. In the summer sit by the river, take in the scenery, you may see the bald eagle, deer or even a moose. On those hot days wade or float in the cool waters. Anglers can cast a line, with the proper license of course! Walk to the pond and enjoy a quiet moment. Walking trails on property and extensive hiking trail heads nearby. Award winning Sunday River Golf course is just 2 miles away. Guests can take-in the expansive views of Sunday River trails from the front of the lodge. Just a 2 mile drive to the base lodge, resort restaurants and shops. Arrive to the property and park under one of the two massive carports offering protection from the elements. Each entrance, upper and lower, offer mudroom storage for all your outside gear including custom ski and boot storage in the lower mudroom. The main level features vaulted ceilings, a massive open concept kitchen and living area with high end appliances, large kitchen island with seating, comfortable leather couches and wood burning fireplace. Off the kitchen is the beautiful dining area with massive dining table plus custom hutch and unique live edge coffee table with a set of chairs facing Sunday River. From the dining area, the back deck offers seating and BBQ grill with views of the river. The primary en-suite bedroom presets direct Sunday River trail views, king bed, large soaking tub, separate glass tile shower with duel shower heads. For guests that need to work while traveling, there is a dedicated office space. On the upper level of the home two roomy queen bedrooms share a large bath with glass tile shower. This bathroom was designed with plenty of space for a massage table for those spa weekends! The lower level of the home features the TV room with gas fireplace, cozy up and watch a movie or your favorite sporting event. The lower level is also home to the dart board and sauna room as well as kitchenet. With plenty of space, the bunk room is off the TV room with a queen bed and 2 sets of twin bunks. The lower level is also where guests will find access to the back patio. Hot tub, large custom firepit and two additional artistic fireplaces make the back yard magical. The Sunday River runs just below the back patio area, take the path to sit by the river foe morning coffee or evening cocktail.
Guests should be advised, there is another home adjacent to the main house. Guests will not be disturbed by the owners of that property.
Remember we are in the mountains of Maine and the snow we hope for all year can make travel more difficult. We recommend all or 4 wheel drive in the winter season. The roads and driveway are professionally maintained but guests may find travel difficult without it.
The damage waiver fee of $150.00 is a non-refundable payment- which covers accidental damage up to the amount of $1500.00. This fee is processed in the overall costs of the rental at the time of booking.
~Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival: You’ll receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $50 processing fee.
If you cancel within 30 days of arrival: You’ll be refunded for any portion of your stay that is rebooked by another guest.
