Located in Blain, this farmette offers a peaceful quiet setting nestled against the Tuscarora State Forest, enjoy what this 3-bedroom house has to offer. With 2 full beds and 1 queen bed, this fabulous property provides a cozy and comfortable stay for guests. Complete with amenities like a washing machine, WiFi, and AC, our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Blain. Outdoors you will find a relaxing area with adorandike chairs complete with a fire ring and firewood, overlooking a field and woods, a swing-set, basketball hoop, and spikeball, the Sherman's Creek borders the property offering a place to splash on a hot day, a quiet road for a walk and on a clear night enjoy the majesty of the stars, wildlife also abounds. Nearby the Tuscarora State Forest offers horseback riding, biking, nearly 200 miles of hiking, and 100 miles of snowmobiling. Check out Kings Bakery and enjoy their delicious donuts, Blain offers a grocery store, pizza shop and restaurant. Approx. a 50 min. drive to Mechanicsburg or Carlisle and an hour or a little more to Penn State.

Wonderful and Quiet stay in the beauty of nature!

Janita was a great host, and our family enjoyed a great time! Very quiet and peaceful area, with a nice creek and lots of wildlife around! Host was very responsive, and helpful, and even had a wonderful local treat there for us when we arrived. Definitely hope to stay again sometime.

New, clean and plenty of open space. Central AC works well when we needed it. Lots of parking room. Everything was available that you would need for your stay.

Great rural getaway

Great place! Exactly what I expected. Super quiet and peaceful, close to hiking -- a perfect rural getaway. The check in and out process was easy and the host was very responsive. No complaints!

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of six. A beautiful and quiet setting. The children loved creek stomping and the toys, books and games provided entertainment on a rainy day. Both the fire pit area and the front porch provided great places to relax outside while the children played in the yard and on the playset. The host keeps a very clean property and has thought of lots of extras to make it a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Everything was nice. One of the big things that need updated are the upstairs mattresses. They should be queen (not double) for 2 adults it’s not big enough and also they are very hard. Our backs were hurting.
