Perfect for what we needed

This place was perfect for two sets of adults and kids. It is a great location and the view from balcony was excellent. We were right next to pool. The kitchen was very well stocked with what we needed at every meal including Tupperware containers we used during the week. Like many similar places in Hawaii the building was likely built in the 80s and so is a bit dated, but in no way did that impact our enjoyment. We’d come back which is how I look at whether a place was good.

*The price listed on VRBO is not accurate for this property. We had to pay more to the resort office upon arrival.*The ocean view was great and the space itself was clean. The shared spaces on the property were well equipped and well maintained. The location was good for accessing Kona as well as various beaches, bays, and other sites. The listing was not clear about all expenses. The check-in process at the property required additional fees paid to the resort office that were not clearly explained or included in the total advertised price.

Mahalo Jessica for sharing your feedback and for highlighting the cleanliness, ocean view, and convenient location of the property — we’re so glad you enjoyed those aspects of your stay. We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding the additional resort fees collected upon arrival. These fees are set and managed directly by the resort and are separate from the nightly rental rate. However, we understand how important price transparency is, and we’ll review our listing to ensure that this information is made even clearer for future guests. We appreciate your comments and are happy to hear that you otherwise enjoyed your time in Kona. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
