The magnificent waterfront 3 Iguanas Villa is located in the most tranquil area of Placencia Village - located on a private canal of Placencia Lagoon and just 300 yards from the beach. The villa is upscale and loaded with special features exuding casual luxury - a turret with the 3 iguanas mural as you enter, many varieties of tropical trees and plants, ceramic tile and tropical hardwoods throughout, lots of comfortable lounge chairs, custom-designed upscale bathrooms, AC, marvellous mattresses, combination safes and kitchen/kitchenettes in each suite, a private dock on the water and to top it off – a roof-top terrace and plunge pool!

Completed in 2016, our 1st (ground) floor "Hibiscus Suite" boasts a full kitchen - full size fridge/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine etc, in addition to AC, a safety deposit box and a small television. Also provided: hair-dryer, umbrella, bathrobes, bath and beach towels.

This suite has a studio layout and has one queen size bed, a sofa-bed suitable for a young child and a separate bathroom with shower. Body wash and shampoo are provided.

Prices vary throughout the year: High Season (December to June): $125. Low Season (July to November) $100. A peak rate applies for 2 weeks over Christmas. There is an additional 9% hotel tax and 3% service fee.

Location and the property host exceeded all expectations! Annalise was amazing. She was very accommodating and a great host.The property is off the beaten path but is in the city center of the village.

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed. It was our first time to Belieze and the host was super friendly and helpful. Great location too. Quiet and secluded, but within easy walking or bike riding distance to everything. OH, and the roof top pool is the best! So beautiful. When I go back, this is the only place I would consider staying.

Just Right

The host, Annalise was very warm and welcoming. Great location. There is a restaurant/bar next door with live music and great food. Although there is a restaurant, there is still plenty of peace and tranquility. The timing of the noise is just right. The size of the unit works - not too big, not too small. I like the touch of the bathrobes, not everyone in Belize provides them, but they should. It's so convenient for the climate when transitioning between showering and dressing.

Amazing stay with the absolute most wonderful hosts! There is not one thing we could point out that was bad. Annelise and Doyle are the best. Accommodations were great! Location is perfect. Very quiet and safe. Having a golf cart there was perfect to get us around anywhere we wanted to go. The entire set up at 3 Iguanas is exceptional. We loved the resident cats that were always around and were very receptive to us petting them. Annelise always provided us with anything we needed that we may not have brought. Doyle makes the best food in the village. Smoked brisket, fresh grilled lobster and fish, coconut rice, and grilled veggies. We loved just hanging out with the hosts in the evening and enjoying a cold beer. They are very down to earth and so easy to relate to. I could go on and on... let's just say we will be back with our friends next time. Can't wait!

Three Iguanas Villa has recently been taken over bythe British/Belizean couple Dr Annelise Hagan and Doyle Gardiner. Annelise is a British coral reef biologist and has worked in marine park management in Placencia since 2010. Doyle, a native Placencian, is proprietor of DTOURZ your company and will be delighted to arrange all your terrestrial and marine excursions. Annelise and Doyle (and their cats!) live on the second floor of the villa and look forward to welcoming you to Placencia. Doyle loves to cook and is known to be one of the best in the village! He will be delighted to serve you some delicious Belizean specialties at his on site "pop up" restaurant "Doyle's Smoke Yaad". Both Annelise and Doyle will be delighted to assist you in making your stay the best that it can be!

The waterfront Three Iguanas Villa is ideally located. Jungle explorations in the jaguar reserve, Maya archaeological sites, cave-tubing, hiking and horse-back riding are nearby land adventures.
