    We were not booked in via Vrbo ? Apparently it had to be done manually? Clearly the communication between Vrbo and The Ivy was not working, however a room was found for us, had to be changed from a double to a twin as per specifics of our booking. Newly decorated and carpeted room, very lovey, dated shower and NO mattress cover on the my single bed ? Yuk. Room not refreshed on day 2, no replenished milk/tea coffee etc. Despite this we were made welcome and the breakfast was lovely - thank you, would visit again but would book direct next time

    I had to hit 1 star to leave a comment. It doesn't merit a review as we didn't get the opportunity to stay! On arrival prior to 4pm check in we found the building to be locked up. I contacted the host by message & a phone call & got no reply from either. My monies were taken for this booking in March of this year. So actually it's theft as I didn't access the advertised property. I would like a telephone call to discuss my full refund for this property. Absolutely shocking that this has happened. Please AVOID this property!!! . It won't let me upload pictures of the closed sign on Ivy Restaurant & the b and b upstairs with it's blinds closed

    SCAM : property closed Le propriétaire a fermé l’établissement depuis 3 mois donc nous n’avions pas de chambre et tout était full à Clifden. Nous avons du aller dormir à GALWAY. J’espère qu’expédia va nous rembourser la nuit
