Our stay at this lovely Everglades City unit was quite pleasant. I was working a festival in Everglades City and had elected to take a more remote unit so as not to be disturbed by noise from that event after my work was done. This house proved to be exceptional in this capacity.
While the kitchen is modest, it is well equipped. There’s a countertop induction cooktop that works great, and there’s everything you need to make coffee (bring your own coffee, of course). The bed is VERY comfortable and the shower rivals those that I’ve used in four-star hotels!
The backyard faces a lovely creek that is quite serene, especially at night. There’s a fire pit out there (although I didn’t use it this time around — but will next time). I found that the back patio was ideal for unwinding after a long day AND was surprisingly exceptional for star-gazing as there are no city lights nearby!Overall, this is a good spot that is centrally located, yet remote enough to afford a guest privacy and quiet. Ideal for tourists and locals alike!
And, finally, Hunter (owner) was VERY accommodating and always responded quickly when I had an inquiry before and throughout our stay. Highly recommended! We will stay again!
