It's an old hotel, built in 1859-60, and very well-maintained. It has a charming ambience, and the staff are very polite and helpful. It's a short walk from everything in town. Very comfortable and accommodating. Also contains an excellent restaurant. It will be my first choice when I return to Cedar Key.

A stay at the Island Hotel in Cedar Key feels like stepping back into Old Florida at its best. Weathered charm, creaky floors, and Gulf breezes set the tone.
