The lovely home is nestled in the heart of San Antonio, in the Dignowity Hill neighborhood, on San Antonio's near East Side.
Just a three-minute walk from your doorstep, Fairchild Park is where you can enjoy quality time with family and friends in a fun outdoor environment. This San Antonio Parks and Recreation gem features 18 first come, first serve outdoor pickleball courts, available daily from 5 am to 11 pm, so you can play whenever the mood strikes. There is no need to pack your gear for your stay; paddles and balls are provided for your convenience.
The neighborhood is a haven for foodies, with an impressive selection of local eateries serving everything from classic Texas barbecue to inventive vegetarian fare. Start your morning with breakfast tacos at Amaya's Cocina, or indulge in a sweet or savory kolache at Dignowity Kolaches. For healthy, organic soul food, Sweet Yams is a local favorite.
Parks are central to life in Dignowity Hill. In addition to Fairchild Park's pickleball, tennis courts, and Olympic-sized swimming pool, you'll find Dignowity Park with its playground, dog park, and panoramic downtown views, as well as the iconic Hays Street Bridge-a historic iron truss bridge now open to pedestrians and cyclists, perfect for sunset strolls and cityscape photos.
