Set along the southern shoreline of Lake Oconee, Sunset Evening is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath lakefront retreat that combines southern charm with modern comfort. With all main-level bedrooms, vaulted ceilings, and a spacious, open layout, this home is perfect for families, friends, or multi-generational getaways.

This was a great location for our older parents to join us and fish for the weekend. We were able to take our dogs, they had bowls and toys ready for them, as well as blankets for the bed to allow them to come up and cuddle at night. Beautiful sunsets and caught a good number of fish. We’ll definitely be back for another weekend away.

Quiet lake retreat

My family wanted a nice lake getaway for a few days of fishing. This house fit the bill. We rented a boat that we docked at the house dock and also fished off of the dock. We were very pleased with this property. We would most definitely rent this property again.

Oconee Hideaway

This is a lake rental on the upswing. The owner is obviously upgrading the property. They’ve installed a concrete patio and landscaping. The patio is large with a grill and family sized table and fire pit. It allowed the kids to play and stay out of the pine straw and dirt. The dock is made of modern decking so no splinters and it’s layer out so there’s always shade on one side or the other. Inside the house there’s plenty of room for all. The kids especially liked the upstairs loft. We found the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals, with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The internet service was fantastic and uses Roku for their streaming service. The best area for us was the screened porch with the view of the lake. Early morning coffee, evening meals and relaxing time was in that area. The sunsets were spectacular! Would I rent it again….heck yes!!
