Quaint 2-bedroom Apartment with safe offstreet parking in Eureka

Make yourself at home in this cozy 2-bedroom Eureka retreat. This 1200 sq/ft upstairs apartment features a bright living room with plenty of comfort and room, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The master bedroom offers a queen bed and deskspace as well as large closets and a great view of the garden outside. The second bedroom has a full bed futon and a scenic view of surrounding redwood trees with big windows on half of the room, almost like a treehouse experience. The bathroom includes a full shower/bath and is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and a hairdryer for your convenience. With amenities like safe off street parking, WiFi, a smart TV with plenty of apps, books, games and toys, your stay will be as pleasant as can be. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Eureka and our apartment has to offer.

Guest access and parking:
The gate from the parking area can be accessed with a latch and the front door to the apartment is accessed with a keypad using a 4-digit code (usually the last 4 of your phone number unless otherwise specified).
Please only use parking space #1 during your stay as we do host another rental on site. You may see others coming and going in the parking area. Please keep gates closed at all times when not loading/unloading.
Additional parking may be available upon request. Electric car plug-in may also be available upon request. We're happy to accommodate any request if we're able, please just ask.

Considering service animals:
If bringing a service animal or emotional support animal please keep in mind that there are requirements. A guest’s emotional support animal must not be:
-Out of control
-Unhousebroken
-Left alone at the listing without prior approval
-Allowed into areas that are considered unauthorized to the guest.
-Allowed in a public space without being harnessed, leashed, or tethered and not under the guest’s control.

Also please note, to conserve energy, we leave the heater off in between guests. The space warms up very quickly once turned on, just gently twist the round silver button on the wall thermostat and adjust to your comfort.

One more note that the property owners live on-site downstairs, the upstairs apartment is all yours and entirely separate.

One night with my wife at 20 month old. Two cute rooms, very comfy bed in main room. Baby slept in other bed. Room enough in house for probably 4-5 people. Communication with owner was prompt and there were very kind. Cozy and comfy house in wholesome feeling area. Would stay again!

The apartment was so cute and peaceful — it definitely gave me a cozy mountain vibe. Everything was very clean, and they even provided an air mattress for extra comfort. The kitchen was spotless and stocked with everything you might need, including coffee and tea. The front yard was small but charming, with a hammock, a table and chairs, and even a few adorable chickens wandering around. The owner was on-site and very helpful with the few questions I had. We are a family of six, and I was really satisfied with our stay.

Very nice little place

They have it decorated coastal and did a good job of it. One of the bedrooms has 3 walls of windows where you look out at beautiful vegetation. It's a very nice little place and the brief interactions I had with the owner, they were very responsive and polite. If we go back to Eureka we will be staying here.

Away from the street and off street parking spot. Well equipped. Plenty of room. You do have climb a set of stairs.

Sweet and comfortable retreat

Lovely upstairs 2BR apartment on a property with beautiful gardens. Has sweet kitchen, table and 4 chairs, couches and living room chair. Both bedrooms were roomy and had nice views, the bedroom we slept in had lots of windows and it felt like you were in the trees. There was a downstairs patio available also. Off the street and designated parking. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great place to stay on our trip up the coast

This apartment is an absolute gem. It was clean, nicely furnished, and full of period details and thoughtful touches from the host. Checking in was as easy as entering the code into the door. The rest of the property is absolutely lovely as well, and Kristina and Hans were wonderful to chat with and answered all of my questions about the area. My only regret is that we stayed just two nights and were gone most of the time so we didn’t have time to fully enjoy the place. We will be coming back to Eureka in the future and will look forward to staying here again.

“Oasis in Eureka”

Eureka is a beautiful city, and this location would be an oasis in any urban setting. Just minutes from the Sequoia Zoo and Historic Downtown, the driveway leads you to a secluded, cottage-like house. As soon as you step out of your car, you're greeted by the wonderful fragrances of the flower garden that surrounds the property. The apartment had everything my family needed and more. The room my wife and I stayed in featured large windows that stretched across half the room, providing breathtaking views each morning. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Cozy home away from home!

Our stay was nothing short of wonderful! We met Hans when we came to check in (not a formality, he was just outside at the BBQ!) super friendly gent! Kristina had been so prompt with replies to messages before and during our trip! I mentioned that I had been under the weather one day (on the trip) and without a beat she offered to leave me some medicine :)The BEDS!!! It was like sleeping in a cloud! Cannot say enough! Even my kids thought that was the best part! The apartment was fully stocked with all linens for the bathroom & kitchen, and TONS of blankets! The kitchen was also fully stocked with everything you wouldNeed (minus the food lol) full ice cube trays in the freezer and a full brita in the fridge! The second bedroom had two walls of windows that gave a great view to the trees around the area and the chicken coop (how cute!) I could easily have have just chilled in that room all day, it was so peaceful. Great location, not too far from the downtown area or Sequoia Park Zoo!10/10 recommend!
