Very cute clean cabin on a lake. Host was so kind, left towels for my pup baby. Needed this break after loosing my 13 year service animal. Definitely will be coming back and booking this cabin. If you see it get it, you won’t regret this one

Very appreciative the effort into putting information together about local & surrounding dining, entertainment, outfitters, etc. caught a few small bass but some is better then none. Was a little disappointed seeing how run down griffin park has become. But overall we enjoyed our stay & kayaking on the lake! We will be back!

We are new to VRBO. But, we are not new to hosting. My husband and I started hosting in 2017. We love this area. I grew up going to summer camp in Hardy, Ark. I learned to swim and canoe in the river and made life-long friendships there. I have pursued the mountains, deserts, and all types of water over the years. Yet, as an adult, this area called me back. Now I have the chance to share it all and nothing makes me happier. Reconnect with nature and the personal touches of this small town.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

A little history of the neighborhood: Lake Kiwanie was named for and is located at the old Camp Kiwani (no "e" in the original spelling) in Hardy, AR. Camp Kiwani (The Girl Scout Council of the Mid-South) began in 1920 when 80 acres in the foothills of the Ozarks near Hardy, Arkansas became the first Camp Kiwani and served until it was sold in 1960. It was one of the first Girl Scout camps built, about the same time Camp Miramichee and Camp Kia Kima began in Hardy on the Southfork of the Spring River. Kamp Kiwani moved to Hardeman County near Middleton, Tennessee but the spirit of camping, canoeing and the love of nature remains. The neighborhood now consists of the private lake, cabins and homes conveniently located between Hardy and Cherokee Village (2 miles to each). This a-frame cabin is part of Camp Miramichee Falls short term rentals. We have 8 rentals ranging in size from 1-room cabins to the 3,000 square foot home next to this cabin. There are three rentals in a row on Kiwanie Lake and 5 cabins on the Southfork River across the road, two blocks away.

この宿泊施設の特徴

You will love this little a-frame cabin on the lake. Kiwanie Lake is a small lake with about 10 cabins around it. Though there are some neighbors, it feels cozy and private. There are 2 natural springs on our property. They run year round. You have a boardwalk over the yard that leads to your private dock. Do you like to paddle? This cabin comes with a kayak and a paddle boat for your use at the lake. Kiwanie Lake is great for fishing. Fish for bass, bream, crappie and catfish here at the lake.
