Our room was perfect for our weekend visit with friends who lived nearby. The room had everything we needed and was very close to the lake, which has a lovely walking path. Our hosts were kind and helpful.

Perfect

It was a very nice place. Clean and cute. It would have helped to have the porch light on since arrived at night. We were a little unsure of where to go but figured it out because of the pictures.

Nice Place

Have stayed here several times. Neat and clean, and great location. Comfortable bed and nice shower. My only issue was the internet went out several times over the 4 days we were there. Made watching tv shows difficult. Otherwise, a nice stay.

Just right to meet all our needs

Great hosts, pleasanr, informative. We downsized from an apartment on our last visit and i worked out very well. Very nice neighborhood, nice to have a patio, everything needed was there. The bed was super fomfy!comfy. Thank you

Very Pleasant

I was very pleased with everything. I am physically handicapped. The homeowner was so kind. She carried my luggage in for me. The room was very clean. It provided everything I needed. Little extras included coffee much needed in the morning. I enjoyed the shower. It had easy access and plenty of warm water. The room was quiet, clean, and the host was gracious. What more could you ask for? Stay here when you visit Kenosha!!

Cozy and comfortable

Good for two. Nice for walking through the beautiful neighborhoods and close to the parks and Lake M. Easy access to downtown. Liked the porch patio.

Wish we had stayed elsewhere.

First the pros: The bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, nice safe quiet neighborhood, and convenient to the lake. The cons: When we first entered, we were overcome by the smell of something cooking. This is part of a house, so I didn't think too much of it, but EVERYTIME we re-entered the room the smell was present... it NEVER GOES AWAY. The room was too small. There was a little table/desk under the TV and a chair available to sit on, but if the chair is placed at the table, you have to climb over the bed to get from one side of the room to the other; this can be difficult if you are disabled or just elderly with limited mobility. I have stayed at many VRBO properties, and ALWAYS leave the place spotless and get good reviews. We got a complaint from the owners alleging that we left the shower stained, and they added on a 100 dollar charge to replace the shower curtain! Problem is, they have a sign prominently posted requesting to NOT clean the shower. I checked the shower before we left and didn't notice any stains, my partner rinsed the shower when she was finished with it, if there were stains there, I cannot say and even if there were, we were not allowed to clean it ourselves. (we were just following the instructions the owners posted) In hindsight, I wish we had just stayed elsewhere for that portion of our trip.

Cozy, quiet room

This room was exactly as listed. Check in was very easy, the room was very comfortable! Appreciated all the “extras” - books to read, good coffee, soap/shampoo in the bathroom, etc. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

The room was exactly what we were looking for while in town for a wedding. It's in a quiet neighborhood, a few blocks from Lake Michigan, a deli/store and restaurant on the corner and just a few minutes from downtown. I would certainly book here again.

Very friendly and helpful host

The property was clean and provided all needed supplies. The host was very friendly, helpful and available to help at all times. The room is on little smaller side but that was okay because we were using the room only to sleep at nights. It is suitable only for a couple. The bathroom was also on smaller side. Overall a good stay.
