Overall great visit to Grand Marais! The property is close enough to the city to quickly get items you may need but far enough out to enjoy privacy and nature. We love the beach just down the road. One small problem with check in was handled very quickly by the host and we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend, and we'll likely book again in the future!

This cozy little cabin in Grand Marais was clean, comfortable, and made for a great home base while exploring the area. We also appreciated that it allowed our two dogs, which made traveling much easier.We’d definitely stay here again. The only reasons we’re giving it 4 instead of 5 stars are that it’s about a 1.5-mile drive to the waterfront (rather than an easy walk), and the cabin uses well water that has a very orange color, so we’d recommend bringing your own drinking water.Overall, it was a comfortable, clean cabin in a quiet location and a great option if you’re traveling with dogs.

We booked this at the last minute because we wanted a getaway to Grand Marais for our anniversary. GM is our favorite little town. This place was perfect for us. Beds were comfortable. Place was clean. We didn't bring our pugs, but it's nice to know that we could in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay! My partner and I went for a weekend get away and we were very pleased. The location was great, close to hiking areas. The cabin was clean and cozy. The host was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Loved the cottage and location. Easy acess to trails and locals seem real helpful and friendly. The host was real helpful and reacted immediately during the blizzard after power outage occurred with a generator and gas to keep the heat on during the storm. Loved the cottage was pet friendly.

Property was peaceful and conveniently located to all that the upper peninsula had to offer. Right next to the cozy village of Grand Marais and near a great disc golf course. It was well-maintained, the owner was communicative and friendly, and there were convenient touches throughout. Would stay again!

Had such a good stay. Easy to acess trails. Property manager had place looking great. Our pets loved the snow and sticks. Had power outage do to storms, property manager contacted immediately. Supplied generator to keep heat on and informed us where to buy supplies needed for an outage during such a big storm.

Nice house and location but could use some improvements. Water pressure in the shower was low and it was hard to find a water temp that was comfortable. The heat was also hard to control. It was either too hot in the living room or it cold everywhere else. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

This was perfect for us. Cloe to beaches for rock hunting or just watching the sunset on the beach. Within driving directions to lots of stuff to do. Very quiet and peaceful. House was a real surprise as it had everything you need except food , you supply yourself. Would recommend it for anyone who appreciated a restful place to stay. Can't say enough good things about it.

We like the deck and dog tie out, though to cold and rainy to enjoy. All the accomidations you'd need for a stay were available. Pots, pan, dishes, towels, games, puzzles, etc. I liked the decor and furnishings. If you like it HOT! turn on the furnace. Though a bit loud, it was instant oven. Feedback: the toilet bowl discoloration caught me off guard, the shower surround needs updating. Bath bars were left behind. Kinda gross. And the soap dispenser attached to the shower wall reminded me of a Super 8. My sister stayed in the room by the back door and she commented that the bed tagged in the middle and that the windows were crafty. All together, nothing terrible, or scary. We were there for the Annual Rockin' Weekend and it suited us fine. Thank you.

I grew up in Grand Marais, Michigan and have fond memories of this charming little town. A few of my favorite places to visit are; Sable Falls, Agate Beach, The School Forest and Lake Superior National Shoreline. A slice of heaven.
