Yeah, it's about 5-10 mins to the lifts, depending on your speed and footwear, and of course, how much the kids like to stop and look in the shops on the way! As you say, a shuttle does also run during peak season, although we've never taken it as we enjoy the short stroll. Thanks for the review! You're right, you definitely don't need a car during your stay, everything is right on your doorstep! In regards to the decor, as you say, everything is clean and it's also very comfortable, but we agree that some areas could do with a modern touch. We've made a number of changes over the past year, but there's always more that can be done! Hi Chris, We have many excellent reviews so were sorry and surprised to see your comments come through. We pride ourselves on offering a clean, comfortable and affordable way for our guests to enjoy Whistler and believe the listing and photographs represent the property accurately, but we will certainly do a review to ensure this is the case. We use a very professional cleaning company who ensure the linens are all spotless and also photograph before every stay to ensure all is up to standard. We'll review your feedback with them as we take items such as this very seriously. Regarding the elevator, there were some maintenance issues that week and we are sorry for any inconvenience. We will make a note to provide information on the staircase location in the unusual event any future guests need to take the stairs. All that said, we hope you enjoyed Whistler and all it has to offer. Dave and Sarah
