Very small house literally in a small neighborhood full of crackheads. They all hang out outside and nod off together in public. Not a safe place for kids and I wouldn’t be outside at night. The house looked abandoned on the outside and when we got there the power was shut off. Pitch black on the whole property. Trash/old junk piled up outside the porch door. I reached out to the host for hours but didn’t get an answer until the next day. We had just gotten off of the road from 5 hour drive, it was late, and we had to drive around another hour and a half looking for a hotel to sleep in because we couldn’t stay on the property with no power.

Check the Area Before Booking!!!

The pictures of this property make it look a lot better than it is. There were holes in the walls, a huge gap in the side door, and other defects such as a sink faucet that was barely attached. There was no soap/shampoo, no internet and the remotes for the TV did not work. The host was kind and check in was good, but this place could use some serious TLC. Also, please be cautious when booking this place because the surrounding neighborhood is suspect. There were people sifting through trash and yelling outside the place until 3-4 in the morning.

Disappointing Stay – Unclean, Unsafe, and Poorly Managed

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the house had not been properly cleaned or maintained. There was garbage left in the trash can, a dead roach in plain sight, and visible gaps around the doors that allowed bugs and pests to easily enter.The bed collapsed as soon as I got into it, and my granddaughter discovered a live roach under her towel on the bed. We also saw a mouse inside the house on our second day. Gnats were constantly present, and the entire home had a foul, musty odor that made it feel old and neglected.Communication with the house manager was terrible. I called and never received a return call. My granddaughter texted and finally got a response the next day. While a Terminix technician was eventually sent out, we were not informed ahead of time or asked about our availability.None of the TVs in the bedrooms worked, despite being advertised as amenities. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom upon arrival, no hooks to hang towels, and the yard was cluttered with broken furniture and debris.Overall, this rental was far from the comfortable and welcoming experience we expected. I would not recommend this property to anyone unless significant improvements are made.
