Guest access
During your stay you will have exclusive use of Selma Cottage. The grounds, garden, docks, and firepit are shared with the neighboring cottages, which are all individually owned. All cottages and watercraft are private property. Guests may only use the deck, grill, kayaks, paddles, lake floats, parking spots, etc. provided by Selma Cottage. Common areas include the adirondack chairs, picnic table, firepit, swim dock, dock, and charcoal grill next to the kayak racks.
Summers tend to be more busy at the lake and you may see the neighbors - they are lovely and will likely give a friendly wave or chat around the firepit!
Other things to note
Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Per Association rules, for the safety and enjoyment of all owners and guests, one dog per unit is allowed on the property and must be registered with the Association prior to confirming booking. As this is shared property, and to avoid confusion, we kindly request advance notice of service dogs.
Dogs must be leashed on the property at all times and pet messes cleaned up promptly. Failure to follow Association rules will result in fines and/or removal from the property without refund.
Dogs are encouraged to stay off the furniture and unattended dogs must be crated when you leave the cottage (crates not provided).
Parking available for two vehicles. Per Association rules, no trailers are permitted (we don't have the space anyway!) During the winter season, 4WD/AWD is necessary for accessing the property. The Association arranges for plowing/sanding, but the driveway is not paved and so there will always be a layer of snow/ice.
